yea...the splitter cable y shaped thing didn't help. I've found it only does the rhythmic thumping thing when I have my 360 turned on and there is no sound. Once a little bit of sound from the game, background music or whatever, and the thumping thing stops. But what the fuck is causing it...

thats the way most of the songs on every other music game is. GH:VH is nothing ground breaking. You've just never gotten into any of the other GH or RB games. So with that I say welcome to the genre :hatsoff:
