    Call of Duty: Vietnam confirmed

Simply because it didn't add anything to the series. It was literally a carbon copy of Call of Duty 4 with different character models. If you liked World at War, what you really liked was Call of Duty 4, and before that, Call of Duty 2. There is literally nothing remarkable about any of the...

    Bungie partners with Activision......wtf?!

Bungie's explanation of their separation from Microsoft was largely lip service. Bungie never wanted to leave Microsoft, they got exactly what they wanted, a secure job developing one series of games, with whatever budget they wanted. It was once Bungie decided they wanted to make different...

    Call of Duty: Vietnam confirmed

Treyarch wouldn't exist without Infinity Ward. The original Call of Duty was at best a mediocre game. Then Infinity Ward got a hold of it and made Call of Duty 2, then Call of Duty 4, and now Modern Warfare 2 the most recognized and best selling FPS franchise of all time. It's not even close.

Divorce dilemma: Texas says gays can't get divorce

I don't dissent from what you're saying, however fellow members clearly don't subscribe to this knowledge. That's where religion comes in. Prior to the rise of popular religion, marriage dating back to ancient Rome and well before sometimes consisted of a ring to announce your connection to...

    Has Microsoft lost your trust??

Not to nitpick, but again, failures are not new, the quantity is new. Again, no, Microsoft did not know that there were failures in production, because they didn't test their consoles enough to know. That's why this whole problem exists. I'm not trying to be a Microsoft apologist, merely...

To be honest, the Giants struggles, (they're going to struggle offensively all season long, and for that reason will probably be near the bottom of the division) are about 100% management's fault. You can't really fault Edgar Renteria for being the terrible player he is at this point, he's...

    Has Microsoft lost your trust??

PS2 had failures. X-box 360 had failures. They are the exact same phenomenon, and that hasn't changed since the Commodore 64 days. By virtue of the fact that the 360 has more complex hardware than earlier systems, it was inherently more prone to fail. That concept is nothing new, and to...

    Has Microsoft lost your trust??

I don't believe it to be an excuse. The failure rate of 360's was unacceptable, there's no question. But to say that has single-handedly caused people to question if their machine will fail is disingenuous. Anyone with an elementary understanding of computer hardware would understand the more...

Divorce dilemma: Texas says gays can't get divorce

Marriage is not a Christian tradition. Ancient Greeks were marrying men to women, men to men, and women to women, hundreds of years before Christianity. These people don't necessarily want anything to do with Christianity, they want their right to marry, (since legally, it is a secular...

    Has Microsoft lost your trust??

There was no need to before the 360 because no console in history has been this complex. The original X-Box was like an extremely low end PC. When the 360 launched, it had the hardware complexity of a high level PC at the time, and even to date is still a rather high end computer.

The 51% you're referring to was in circulation until late 2007, which according to the console's history puts it at about 13-15 million units. Of those that failed, less that 2 million were kept and a new unit send out, instead, Microsoft tried to fix it, which exacerbated the problem. The...
