Both of his goals where amazing! :D Melrose should start playing him like he is used to ( 20 to 25 minutes a game ) because that's what he is comfortable with and he loves playing a lot.

I said it before , Melrose has to go , he really has no idea what he is doing . They should go get Bob Hartley or Marc Crawford , they both would do a better job .

And I agree with that but I still say that they don't win hockey games.

Oh yeah McCarty had such an impact in detroit's stanley cup win , that's why they gave him the conny smythe trophy ..... NOT ! And also that's why they put him on waivers recently . Yeah goons are really inportant to a team , they make all the difference . They have a minimal impact at best .

I've been a lightning fan ever since the Quebec Nordiques disapeared so I've seen worst from tampa . I'm not giving up on them , I know that they have only played four games but so far I'm a bit disapointed that's all . I still believe that they have a good team and will make the playoffs .

I think they made 4 terrible mistakes in the off season : 1. hiring Barry Melrose as head coach 2. Signing Gary Roberts 3. Signing Mark Recchi 4. Trading Dan Boyle Obviously they can't repair the 4th mistake but they can do something about the first 3 .

Very bad move for Tampa so far . They have only played 3 games and what's the big problem right now ? Transition from the blue liners to the forwards , something a certain Dan Boyle was very good at . Also I think coach Melrose has done a terrible job thusfar. I mean look at the ice time he has...

O'brien is a great physical presence but he tends to make stupid mistakes and he takes unnecessary penalties at times . I think Krajicek is going to play better defensively and is a good puck mover that will see time on the power play . All in all a good move for Tampa .:2 cents:
