Niittymaki : One game he has 47 saves , the next game he is the worst goalie in the world and allows 3 goals on 6 shots. Mike Smith comes on and he is almost worst than that. Maybe I should be the Lightning goaltender at least I would not cost a lot.

Trading Matt Carle for Downie was a brilliant move.

Since Boston is getting Toronto's #1 pick this year the Leafs are better off winning as much as they can so they won't give them that good of a pick.

All these goalies except Osgood where or are better than Theodore , at least they where better in the playoffs. If you look at Theo's history in the playoffs , you will see that it's not very good , so I doubt he can have a good enough performance to take the caps all the way to the big prize...

That can be true in the regular season but in the playoffs , history shows that teams with bad/average goaltenders can't win the cup. So I predict the caps will lose in the second round like last year. Oh and Bolts win in washington tonight , who whould have thought !

Both goalies have sucked in the last 5 or 6 games so I think it's time for Tocchet to choose one of those two ( even though they both suck ) to be the number one untill the end of the season. I think the two goalie alternance system is not a very good one at this point in the season.
