I think Roloson has to adjust to playing in a good team and the pressure it brings. With the islanders he had no pressure at all since no one has any expectations for that team. In the end , he's going to be great when it counts.

Tonight the problem is 4 goals on 9 shots , and sadly the name of the problem was Dwayne Roloson. He must talk to Dan Ellis too much and it's rubbing off on him.

I really want the Roloson/Desjardins tandem to happen this season ,but the only way it does is if at least one or both Smith and Ellis get traded. I don't think Yzerman would send both of them down to Norfolk because it would not be good for Tokarski to go down to the ECHL. If he ends up not...

If Roloson is net tonight , they win 2-1. But since Ellis is the worst goalie ever... I think they should recall Desjardins to be the backup un til the end of the season.

Next two games are in Ottawa and New Jersey , so they have to win those two. I have no idea what happened to Roloson tonight , I hope it was the only bad game he had in him.

Ellis has one year left and Smith is in his final contract year.

At least we had a good idea of what Desjardins can do and I think he is going to make a good goaltending duo in tampa with Dustin Tokarski one day.

None of his predictions will come true. I think Stamkos and Crosby are going to get 60 goals each and Ovechkin will have a 45 goal season. I'm really happy for Cedrick Desjardins , he looked great in his first ever start.

Ellis should have stopped that shot. As for the Stamkos hit , I think the ref is going to feel stupid once he sees the replay. Oh well , at least the bolts are going to beat montreal on thursday so I'm not too worried about them. It would be nice to see Cedrick Desjardins against his former club.

It was the first time this season that the bolts have won a game because of great goaltending.

I think the only untouchable player in Calgary is Kipprusoff , I would love having him in tampa but I highly doubt calgary would trade him. And if they decided to trade him what would tampa give up in exchange ? What tampa really needs is a good goalie that can be their #1 for 3-4 years max...

You are right , Vinny is in Tampa to stay. I don't think he can get back to being the elite player he once was. So no team would want him.

This summer there will be 2 very good unrestricted free agent goalies Vokoun is one of them and the other one is Ilya Bryzgalov. I don't think phoenix will let Bryzgalov go but if he was available I think the bolts should really try to get him. My second choice would definitely be Vokoun.

I think we have to ask mr Vinnik because he is the one who is going to decide to let Yzerman make a move for a good goalie. Tonight tampa should have won 3-1 , absolutely no reason to lose a game with the shots 41-23 for the bolts. Tomorrow , we are going to have the same problem : A very bad...

Another loss because of awful goaltending.

They have the second worst goalie tandem in the nhl after your great oilers , yet they are in 7th in the league. Don't you think if they had a half decent goalie that they would be better than they are right now ? So if they are better than 7th overall wouldn't they be close to the top ? I think...

Let's say for instance that they would make a move to get a guy like Mathieu Garon of Columbus , then they would be a possible cup contender.

Both Tampa goalies are a joke , Please Steve Yzerman make a move , all we need is a good goalie not even a great one !

When I watch Montreal canadiens games I see them playing sloppy on defense but they have Carey Price playing great to bail them out. They allow more shots than Tampa but they have the guy to keep them in the game and the lightning have Mike Smith and Dan Ellis.
