A lot of chefs actually don't cook for themselves all that much. A lof of us eat like crap; frozen pizzas, fast food, canned shit, etc.

It's just hard to get motivated to cook yourself dinner when you just got done cooking other people's dinner all day long. :dunno:

It just didn't make sense for me to go out and spend $75 or so just to feed myself a Thanksgiving turkey dinner. I mean, yes, it would've tasted spectacular, but...I just didn't want to spend a bunch of money, so I ate some canned ravioli. :dunno:

Oh, and yeah, I'm a chef...which makes it even funnier that I ate Chef Boyardee on Thanksgiving. Wait, or is that sad? Eh, either way, it sucks.

Yeah, Thanksgiving is over-rated, but...it still sucks to sit here all alone, relying on CHEF BOYARDEE to fill my stomach. Eh, I guess that's why I have a fridge full of beer, MMM MMMMMMM!!!

Not a bad idea, huh? I don't know, I just find it interesting to see examples of how regional culture varies within the US (and around the world).

For example, if you order a "pop" at a restaurant in some states, they'll have no idea what you're talking about, because they call it "soda". Or, if you're in Texas and you order a Coke, they'll bring you Mountain Dew sometimes. I find stuff like that to be fascinating for some stupid reason.

OOH, another one...I'm originally from Cleveland and almost everyone in the suburb I grew up in would wear 2 t-shirts at a time (minimum) and everybody else that wasn't from my neighborhood thought it was the strangest thing. We also wore t-shirts under dressy button-up shirts too and everyone thought that was weird as well.
