my favorite part is the fact that there is no just visiting part of "In Jail"

The main rule for a haiku is it has 17 moras, in three phrases... 5 syllables, then 7, then 5. However, it has no Kigo... also, ehh never mind, i'd have to explain the Japanese Language to really explain... as Shindekudasai said it is long and elaborate.
