I agree, however, I DO feel that the responsibility was 50/50. I'm in WI (right next to Milwaukee) and the winds here were strong enough to tear shingles off of the rooftops of the apartment complex I live in. So the kid should've had the common sense not to go up there (maybe it's just me having forklift experience and knowing how the weight moves 50 feet up in the air when the balancing point is down on the ground), but at the same time, the school shouldn't told him not to film. I can see both sides, but no matter who was "right or wrong", the outcome is still extremely sour. :crying:

The football injuries were just freakishly bad luck. But even so, I'd fire the strength coach.

Robbie did it on the second day of practice this year. I know he was anxious to return to the court after tearing his ACL last year, but what was the rush? He'd made huge strides to even get where he was before and be in basketball shape again. I just think he should have taken it easy in practice for a few weeks. But then again, what do I know? I'm not a doctor and it could have been another freak accident. Makes you wonder though.

In a preseason poll, we fell from #2 to #23 after word of Rob's injury hit. He was that important to the team. This year really could have been special. We're done now. Probably third in the Big Ten at best.

The big injury this week was losing Robbie Hummel for the year with an ACL tear (basketball team). All national title hopes are gone now. I sort of started drinking heavily after that news hit. So what happened to the football team after that is unknown to me. Fuck Purdue athletics. Can't even keep people healthy.
