Sitting and reading is good. Walking in the trees, seeing amazing spots you don't normally see, camp fires on a cool evening, and waking with nature. Food tastes better, too. I don't know why.

It's hard to beat.

Never been that big of a Tolkien fan, personally. I find his writing rather drab and uninteresting.
