A lot of that is spot on. She married into the industry, as so many do... it didn't last.

It's true. I had a real good chat not long ago with a retired big name pornstar and the relationship dynamic still doesn't work out - she basically lies to her boyfriend about where she is going with her girl friends, telling him they are going on girlie holidays or she is keeping her friends company on "book tours" and other excuses, because she doesn't want him to know about her still escorting. He thinks she's out of the sex industry, but on any given day she's fucking 6 or 8 different guys for cash. It's sad because often these are otherwise decent, well-adjusted people but their attitudes to sex have been altered irrevocably by doing it for a living.

I've heard some horror stories about performers that can't even get a date (as opposed to one night stand) because they struggle to start up a conversation with a girl they want to know, because they're so used to just turning up and getting laid, it's almost like they automatically leave their personality at home, and end up lonely, introverted and insular.
