Do Mods Work on This Board?

Just curious because I never see them ever post anything and there is a **** ton of images that need to be approved and threads modded. The only one I ever see lift a finger is Freeones _Adam. Get to fucking work you Loooooosers.

The mods work for free as far as I know and get some credits.

The mods are volunteers, so sometimes you will see approvals take longer than usual on the weekends, depending on what they/us are up to. For example, I'm here early and on a weekend to make sure you guys are doing alright. Free hugs, anyone?

I believe that I brought up a reward system way back when I was mod.

Sadly, the powers to decide didn't smile on it.

I still believe a dynamic reward system, as: More MyFreeones pointfor more work (Much like Management Bonuses) would help a lot.

But as Adam said, right now, you only get nice words from the OCSMs and ACOs who you help with handling psychos (And the oldtimers remember the really bad psycho member)

I feel like I should not discuss this. But believe me, it was a surprise decision.

I thought that you did a good job. But that was in the time that every time a good poster became a mod, they either got the boot as a mod within short order or they stopped posting and quit the board. Personally, I was hoping that they'd make Sammy Fisher and Philbert mods just so we could have gotten rid of them that much sooner.

I'd do it for free, just to approve attachments and other mundane ****, no extra credits or anything required. I would stay out of interpersonal arguments and what not, and you wouldn't even have to give me the Moderator title, just make it so and I'll do all the housekeeping crap ya'll don't have time to do. Or not, it would probably interfere with my post-modern form of trolling.

Stepping up to th plate when being quietly asked shows what you're made of. Some get powerdrunk whack members left and right that get fresh with them, some start seeing clearer when giving the tools that help mods and admins and joining discussions in the forums hidden back room.

When you start seeing the kind of **** most members never really notice - that is what the staff is for - there are moments when you get sick to your stomach and wonder how our OCSMs deal with these things.

Please show our mods and admins respect, because believe me, without their daily hard work, this place would go down in flames.

Of course pointing out issues that critique specific moderators or admins is important, too.
