GOP already plotting to impeach Hillary

GOP Congressman Already Floating Impeachment For Hillary Clinton

She hasn't even secured the Democratic nomination.

WASHINGTON -- Hillary Clinton isn't president yet. She hasn't even won the Democratic nomination. But a Republican congressman is already getting ready for the opportunity to impeach her -- on the first day of her hypothetical presidency.

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) recently spoke with talk radio host Matt Murphy and said the real issue with Clinton's use of a private email server as secretary of state is "how many lives she put at risk by ********* all rules of law that are designed to protect America's top-secret and classified information from falling into the hands of our geopolitical foes who then might use that information to result in the deaths of Americans."

Brooks added Republicans are going to make sure this issue follows Clinton into office, should she be elected president in 2016.

"And in my judgement, with respect to Hillary Clinton, she will be a unique president if she is elected by the public next November, because the day she's sworn in is the day that she's subject to impeachment because she has committed high crimes and misdemeanors," he said.

On Monday evening, Brooks told MSNBC that he believes Clinton has already committed what would be an impeachable offense if she became president, citing her handling of the documents on her private server.

Clinton is scheduled to testify Thursday before the House Select Committee on Benghazi. The committee has taken a beating in recent days after a couple of self-inflicted wounds from its own members questioning the nonpartisan nature of the panel.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) applauded the taxpayer-funded committee for helping damage Clinton's presidential prospects -- and then spent the following week trying to backtrack. Rep. Richard Hanna (R-N.Y.) said "a big part" of the Benghazi investigation was designed to go after Clinton rather than get to the bottom of the attacks. And a former Republican staffer on the committee also said his bosses were singularly focused on going after the former secretary of state.

This is the actual proof that GOP doesn't care about the american people. They guy clearly says that if the public, if the american people chooses her to be the next president, they will try to impeach her as soon as possible. They would have her imperached on day 1 of her mandate if it was possible.

Of course they will, they have no regard for elections and think they're anointed by God to govern. They can't win the White House so they're going to keep throwing rocks from their gerrymandered seats.

Do you know when gerrymandering really became a topic of discussion? After the 1992 election when a lot of Democrats were ushered into power on Bill Clinton's coattails. The extend of which was exposed in the 1994 election of Republicans to the house after 40 years of being in the minority. The Republican message was right back atcha. Of course no complaints as long as gerrymandering is Dem friendly

Nice try to dismiss what you admit by acquiescence.

The gerrymandering that Republicans have succeeded in, has resulted in representatives like Kevin McCarthy as leader and a Speaker Boehner. Hardly the outcome that conservatives sought. If representatives that have done nothing but grab their ankles for Obama leaves you dissatisfied then we probably should end this conversation now for obvious reasons.

Right here in Texas, in my current district, Louie Gohmert was elected and Jeb Hensarling was made virtually unbeatable thanks to gerrymandering.

Same for District 10 where I live. The overwhelming number of conservative voters in NW Harris (suburban Houston) and the surrounding rural counties offset the serious liberal views of a good-sized chunk of Austin just enough to keep republican Michael McCaul in office. Portions of two separate and vastly different major metropolitan areas of the state are represented by a single voice in congress. Ridiculous. Gerrymandering by either party is just plain wrong and disenfranchises huge blocs of voters both conservative and liberal. Interestingly, McCaul is the 2nd wealthiest man in either house of congress with a personal fortune of over $300 million....you know, just a regular Joe Sixpack (outgunned only by Darrell Issa)!

Look at this ridiculous map of District 10:

If the President's impeached, the vice-president fills for him for the rest of the mandate, am I wright ? Of he just fills for him before new elections are organised ? 'cause in wonder if the GOP would still try to impeach Hillary if having her impeached means that Bernie fills for Hillary for thev rest of the mandate...

I swear to god, if you don’t stop trying to influence my elections I will add more military bases in your country.

If a US President is impeached the VP becomes President for the rest of the 4 year term. Then the President nominates someone to become VP and (just the Senate?) has the approve him/her. This is how Gerald Ford became President in '74.

All of this is moot because the day before Obama leaves office he is going to pardon Hillary Clinton! ;)

That's not how Ford became president. The line of succession is President, VP, Speaker of the House. Nixon and Agnew resigned. Ford slid into the open slot.

Yes it was: VP Agnew resigned, Ford became VP, Nixon resigned ahead of impeachment, Ford becomes President then pardons Nixon, Nelson Rockefeller picked to fill VP slot.

I don't think so but you are more delusional to support an obvious sellout and a fucking socialist swine who has a blowjobber and liar under oath as husband

"I swear to god, if you don’t stop trying to influence my elections I will add more military bases in your country."

IF you're going to plagiarize me, at least acknowledge where it came from. Or...or...or you could try to come up with an original thought.

Hell, you were right. I did know that but I've been sniffing glue all day.
