Is it contradictory for a pornstar to be a christian?

I've asked some female porn performers if they are religious and they all say yes they are christian and some even attend church periodically and pray to a god. They say it is not bad to god because they are not cheating on anyone or breaking marriage vows but that what they do is considered a profession.

Is it a contradiction of a supposed god's law or moral rules that man has set? Can a professional porn performer be a practicing christian?

However, if you're one of those Christians that sticks to the idea that the Bible is just a guide and not to be interpreted literally, then sure, you can probably be a pornstar. Christian, Muslim, Hindu, who cares? They are all crap. It took me almost 30 years to get past my Christian upbringing and recognize the world as it really is - ALL religions are wrong, every fucking one. Religion is harmful and is holding us as a species back. Most recently Muslims have been terrorizing the world but go back to the crusades and Christians were even worse. Religion causes conflict and we don't need it. Not when we have nukes and other things just as bad.

So rant over, there is nothing contradictory for anyone to be a porn star and believe in their favorite fairy story.

I always thought that Christian's beLIEved that having sex before getting married was sinful. If that is true then I would have to say yes it is a contradiction. I guess it would also depend on what sub-sect of the Christianity they belong to ie: Catholic, Methodist, ect ect. I myself am not Christian. Organized religion never really did anything for me personally. Bottom line: Contradiction or not aren't you happy that all the Christian girls in porn decided to do it anyway? More power to them.
