Wow so this thread went to hell!! After doing some research it looks like for the month of December only like 24 OCSM made posts. Using the OCSM master list it shows when the last time they posted! Not sure how the board is set up pertaining to the exact order which the OCSM are lined up from top to bottom if the are posting in the same month?

One would think that either the OCSM who has been most active is closer to the top or it could be that the listing is based on most recent last activity. Either way its clear that there are way more OCSM's than ones who are actually adding to the boards, might be time for a new category Active OCSM's

This shouldn't be surprising. A lot of people who qualify as OCSMs only show up around the Miss FreeOnes competition. They post here begging for votes during the contest, because the votes of board members are weighted more heavily than others. Then when the contest is over they disappear until next year (unless of course they leave the industry, in which case they never return).

My point exactly! You would think that being Miss Freeones would involve your activity on the boards. Those who only show up once a year should have to pay for their lack of activity on the boards, how the hell can you be Miss Freeones when you don't even engage on the boards?

Of course we all know just about any "contest" is BS yet we all still engage in the stupid pass time of contests!!

Not much any of us can do about that. Best you could manage is actually posting interesting, non-offensive topics that they might actually want to get involved with and post in. When the stuff that's presented here is mostly assari topics, versus threads, who has the best [insert body part here], and threads trolling the people in the industry (which, yeah, includes the OCSMs) they don't exactly have much to work with. Even if they manage to not be offended, well, that's still not exactly going to hold their interest, is it?

Beyond that? If you want the OCSMs to spend more time here... Convince the people running the site to tighten up the rules and toss the problem elements. When you have people making endless topics running down people in the industry, or making malicious posts (or, say, posting an OCSM's real name and only getting a slap on the wrist for it as opposed to being booted permanently) that isn't likely to make the board seem very inviting to them. Nothing the end users can do about that. Nothing the mods can either since they have to follow the rules as laid out. You need to convince the FreeOnes staff that there's a happy medium where they can enforce some kind of decorum, but not run the place in a way that brings to mind the term "jackboot". So perhaps you should pester Anders and friends until they decide to make the board a less hostile environment.

I really like the idea with having OCSM on the board and is a great way to interact with the ladies.

But somehow I wish there would be more OCSM activity on the board.
Don't get me wrong, some OCSMs are doing a great job here and participate a lot. But if I counted correctly, we have 659 OCSMs at the moment.

I'm not really sure what people want here. Overall participation on the board is down. It's natural for OCSM activity to be down as well. Also, have you looked at the topics in the talk section? Not exactly enlightened discussion taking place here. You really couldn't blame them for finding something else to do.

I'd say just enjoy ladies that are posting (not to name names but Lucy, Lacey, and Briana come to mind) and hope that more return later.




Side note: I'm telling you - if we gave DOA the ban hammer and allowed him to start eliminating trolls and closing retarded threads, people would come back. Freedom on the Internet is too much for some people. We need rules in place to keep **** in line. Without it, we have this. And people stop posting because there's just too much goddamn bullshit to deal with.

FreeOnes is more than just the forums, that's only one part of the business.

That said, we ARE the forums, but hey... you try convincing the average forum member to reward interaction, and not just who shows up and bats their eyelashes first. Because let me tell you, most of the people who post here will bitch about it after the fact, but will also readily vote for someone who shows up not one day before voting starts and hands out the same sample pics they spam all over the Internet as bribes simply because, "Hey! Pics! *fapfapfap*".

Last year, you know how many people I voted for who weren't active OCSMs? Zero. I doubt most people could say the same.
