Indeed, I completely agree with Danger... if Danger didn't mention it, I certainly was gonna, but let me answer your question.. FUCK NO!!! "The Wire" has no competition, IMHO the closest you can get to "The Wire" is "Breaking Bad" and your still falling very short of besting "The Wire"

Southland is better than The Wire IMO, I love the wire though, but Southland takes it to the streets and is very hard hitting.
