Raw or Cooked?

As the owner of three amateur porn sites I'm always looking for ways to make our videos stand out.

To keep the videos as natural as possible, scenes are shot the way they happen with very little interaction from the crew. The result is very natural sex scenes filmed from two or three angles.

The question is, should I edit the videos and show only the best track or should I let our members see the unedited footage from all three cameras?


Background:

Over the last few months I've repeatedly found myself viewing the raw footage of our shoots rather than the edited finished video and I find that the un-edited, as-shot footage has a better amateur feel that the edited version of the same shoot.

I also find myself looking for specific clips that I saw on the un-edited videos that were edited out because often the view from all of the cameras is good and the editor has to choose the best angle, leaving two others in the cutting room floor.....

If I were to put up the un-edited video, site members would get to see all the camera angles such as close-up, overhead, and wide shots and all the "behind the scene" stuff like my sexy camera girl cleaning excess lube off my balls.

So - given the choice, which would you rather see, the edited video, the raw footage or both?

I've always wanted to see some options that allow you to see all camera angles concurrently. Split the frame into as many panes as rolling cameras, and sync them up to all play together in one frame.

That gives the viewer an opportunity to see what they want, when they want. I often times find myself enjoying a scene, or position, but want to see (an)other angle(s) of the same position. (i.e. Wanting to see a woman getting fucked doggy-style and seeing both the penetration and her facial response to it. Multiple panse within the frame, synced up, would allow for this.)

That doesn't really answer your question, does it? Whatever, I stand by my initial response.

You and I think alike - I've been wanting to build a site that needs that technology to work. Something like a surveillance system where you can view all angles at once or pick the camera of your choice full-screen.

Yes, exactly! Even if the frame was static and unable to be manipulated or maneuvered through camera-by-camera (which would be even better), seeing all angles at once would be my ideal way to watch porn.

I have actually seen this in a DVD. I friend of mine had one that was made by Peach or Peaches or something like that, and the main star was really hot Asian girl.
But it was all solo stripping to nude and light rubbing.
As I recall it had 3 different angle options or you could view them in quarters on one screen with one of them twice.

Oh, and in general, I like raw.

I've seen software that lets me do this on a dvd but I need a way to stream multiple synchronized clips at the same time. If someone know how to do this, I'm all ears.

There are two sides to the amateur scene - amateur production and amateur models. I like it best when both come together.

The editor might choose what HE thinks are the best angles and footage, but when I see the video I may dislike it all the way. Having a choice of what you want to see (top view, side view, etc) is certainly a plus.

I agree - there are so many times when the editor is stuck making a choice - often between a great closeup and a equally great full-body angle - one reason I **** editing.


There will always have to be some editorial choice - like the time the Maxi Booty mentions her ***'s real name in the video. Usually it's only when someone says something that we can't legally (or morally) release.
