It now takes 5000 reputation to get 1 point of reputation altering power. Out of our regulars 30 of them were at the cap so the number was dramatically adjusted down so that people won't be reaching the cap THAT easily. This way we don't have to even think about resetting the whole thing for years to come.

Those of you who are at 429000 (and some numbers above that) are at the reputation cap. 2 billion is the limit on a 32bit system, which our old one was. We've upgraded to 64bit and Raymond did increase the database cap, but I don't think it's working. Unfortunately, outside of resetting rep, I don't think there's anything that can be done to fix it.

Actually, you were at the cap. It was something that we were aware of and hadn't gotten around to fixing since it wasn't exactly critical to keep the board going and we had other things left over from the upgrade that needed doing.
