The new rep system

Not that I care about the points, but I'm curious about how the new rep system is supposed to work. I ask, because since the new software was installed, I have received 33 positive reps, 0 neg reps, and my point total has gone up by a grand total of 1.

I'm curious, too. They didn't publish the new rep rates anywhere. I also don't know if those who were maxed out are still maxed out.

C'mon, FreeOnes team! Let us know.
:D

I'd love to help (not really), but, being that moderators have to check their rep at the door when they enter the sacred shrine of moderatorhood, I have no idea what the new radio is.

I think you mean ratio.

Anyhow, I think it's been tweaked a few times. I remember the first time I repped after the upgrade, a newbie got 116. I did it again on someone else and he got 86. I've repped a few who have over 400,000 and their point total didn't move up even a single point.

Dirk is so vain. What a fucking ass hat...

 Of course I meant ratio, but this piece of **** Swype text input software writes what it wants to write, not what I tell it to. :brick:

My rep doesn't go up when I'm repped neither does that of those I give rep to, whether they're maxed out or not? What's going on?

I gave you a rep and it didn't move. WTF?

Petra did say that the rep was changed so that it takes a long time to get 1 rep point. I also rep people, and see that their rep doesn't move up at all. Roald will delegate Petra to clear this up, and she'll ****** whip Anders into writing an explanation.

Knowing Anders, the explanation will include pictures of himself in a dress.

When it comes to me, I've found it to be an uncomfortable truth that, while I don't want to give a **** about rep, I find myself giving a **** about rep, only because the people around me insist on giving a **** about rep, so against my will I start to give a **** about rep, and when the aforementioned giving a **** about rep continues, I find myself continuing to give a **** about rep, and I don't want to continue giving a **** about rep, so if the rest of you would kindly stop giving a **** about rep, I could get on with my fuckin' day. :hatsoff:

I don't give a **** about rep. I'm just curious about the rules.

Does that help? If not, can I punch you in the throat? It might help you to relax/fall ******.

The other option is spooning. I'm the big spoon.

This should clear things up...

And remember ********... geese are not clean *******...

We might be able to produce a better answer come monday.

Repping newbies keeps me feeling relevant. :glugglug:

I bet he thinks this reply is about him. Don't he. Don't he.

Oh, yeah, and mine has not changed, either, not that I have been obsessing over it, checking it daily, making charts, and ******* hobos every time it does not change.
