I always wonder what this board thinks about 'God Bless America' during the 7th inning stretch in baseball. I almost feel this entire board cringe when I hear it. :surprise:
I actually like the Kate Smith version of the song "God Bless America"....but believe me, cringing when I hear it during the 7th inning stretch is putting it mildly. I think it's ridiculous.....but I think the national anthem before the games is ridiculous too.....it's like everyone just becomes mindless drones or something, but what are you going to do.
That being said.....even thought "the poll" is MIA, I'd characterize myself an agnostic.
