If he had pointed a *** to someones head, pulled the trigger and then turned the *** on himself, everyone would be saying "oh he ****** someone, and then ****** himself, good, he deserves to die after what he did".

But because it was a vehicular manslaughter, people are quicker to defend his actions, or absolve them. Which isn't right. Because if you've been ********, and you not only make the choice to get behind the wheel, but CHOOSE to drive over DOUBLE the speed limit, you are making the clear choice to **** other people. We aren't uninformed, we're not ignorant to the fact that ******** and driving ***** other people. The fact that he's apparently got a history with reckless driving has given him more education about the rights and wrongs of being a driver. But he chose to get into his vehicle, therefore chose to **** himself, his passenger and any other innocent life that got in the way of his Porsche. He chose to **** that nite, and he shouldn't be defended, shouldn't be glorified...people that have zero concern for the life of others don't deserve to live in the first place. As a driver, you have a responsibility to drive intelligently so that you don't put others in harms way, and he didn't do that, so FUCK HIM. Potential lives have been saved because of this accident. Just because he's a ********* who people clearly adore, doesn't mean that he's any different than the other losers out there who **** people while driving ***********. You wouldn't stand up for the average joe who runs down a van full of ******** after a night at the bar, so quit standing up for this dillhole.

I think some of you should chill the fuck out with the tone of your posts. The man is dead. Take your holier-than-thou, self-righteous rah-rah **** and go picket the man's funeral. Would that make you feel better? Better yet, join MADD or some **** to get all this vitriol out of your system. Make a REAL difference.

We live in societies that forgive. Dany Heatley was forgiven; Ray Lewis and Michael Vick were forgiven. Countless other celebreties and athletes have been forgiven. Get over your perfect selves and let the man RIP. :2 cents:

I am not standing up for him. Nor do I defend his actions. I agree that he made a mistake. That's indisputable. I don't think anyone on the board is glorifying him.

What I have an issue with is people being cruel and rejoicing over this. No one deserves death - a very violent death. Yes, a big mistake was made and the ultimate price was paid.

To laugh and mock and belittle this man for what happened (I do not refer to you) accomplishes nothing. His ****** and friends, and the ****** and friends of his passenger have lost them - forever. Look at Margera, Knoxville and the rest of that circle of friends: they are absolutely heartbroken and distraught over this. I'm sure that at some point they will all be angry at him as well and they will all be resentful at him over this. Mr. Dunn can't read these comments - but his ****** and friends can. And they are innocent.

I can fully appreciate being upset over the fact that he was under the influence, particularly if you have lost someone to a ***** driver. Too many of us have. I agree that it is very natural to be angry over what happened.

However, there is no justification for celebration and mockery. None.

That's not really an appropriate analogy as he never intended to go out and **** someone as well as himself, he would have been aware that driving ***** could've got them ****** but the intent just isn't there, he simply chanced it and it didn't pay off. There is no denying his own stupidity and reckless choice to drive got him ****** but bear in mind he and his passenger both have families and friends that are mourning their passing and people mocking or even celebrating their deaths will only cause them further grief. Understandly this event may bring up emotions in people and there is nothing wrong with differing opinions but there is a line that shouldn't be crossed out of respect to their friends and ******. :2 cents:

Not even the same thing. When I choose to be a camgirl, and you choose to produce porn, we are making a choice for OURSELVES. When you get behind the wheel while ***********, you are making the choice to risk not only your life, but the countless other lives that are on the highways and roads with you. I could care less if someone judges me for being a camgirl - but sorry, ***** drivers are someone I, along with the rest of the population who is on the road, have the right to not only judge, but criticize. Sorry, but people who fuck with other peoples lives flat out deserved to be called out on it.

And to you and all the others, call me a judgemental MFR all ya want, I don't care. I lost my soulmate because of a reckless asshole driver, so I'm going to reserve the right to hold a bit of anger and disgust with those who behave in the same manner. I've BEEN in the position that Ryans ****** and friends are in...only my best friends life was TAKEN, not thrown away. This **** SHOULD be talked about...so maybe all of the young fans of Ryan Dunn learn from his mistakes and don't repeat his actions. :2 cents:

I hope that the rest of the Jackass cast now realizes that you just cannot bullshit your entire life away. Ryan was famous for doing stupid ****, and will continue that legacy in death. ******** and driving is not some dumb-ass humorous stunt. Some things have no place for jackassery. Bam was completely broken by this, and I hope he takes this tragedy as a grand learning experience.

It wasn't that I can't feel for a grieving ******, or that someone being dead isn't sad enough, but if my facebook news feed was any indication on the day of his death, you'd think this guy cured cancer, or saved baby orphans from a hurricane or something. I mean, instead of being part of a show where they shoot bottle rockets out of their asses.

I'm with Spexy on this, having seen this a number of times during my cop days. If you ***** like an asshole, and brag about ******** like an asshole, and then get in your car *****, and drive at incredibly high speeds... bad things are going to happen, and we shouldn't pretend this guy was some loveable ****** film actor- he was a guy who embraced and flew the flag for a recklessly dangerous life. Having a hard time finding tons of sympathy.

Anyone ever heard the phrase "Live by the *****, die by the *****..." ?

I grew up watching Jackass, Viva La Bam, Wild Boyz, etc. but I gotta say, yeah it sucks that Dunn died, but that's what happens when you are an irresponsible driver. I can't feel sorry for the guy, especially since he's had so many driving citations before this happen.

I feel sorry for his ****** and friends, though, I've had ****** who have had DWI's/DUI's and even wrecks when they ***** in the past and it affects the ****** more than them, you almost have to treat them like babies when they start ********, take away their keys or watch them so they don't leave, but ultimately there's only so much you can do and it is up to the person to grow up and be responsible, you can't take care of them all the time. I really feel sorry for Bam, he looked like hell.

I think the rest of the cast has a little bit more going for them
than Dunn did, and they're more mature at least. Dunn was just a partier. Even Steve O is cleaned up now. None of the other guys are "bullshitting" their life away.
