I've done something similar to those pictures: I've free-climbed 10" beams 100' in the air at arenas before. I normally don't go out on beams unless I'm clipped in, but some places don't have fall protection systems installed everywhere. The worst is San Francisco's Cow Palace, where if you have to go out in the small steel to pull a point you're crawling on the side of a sloped L-beam truss that goes from 3' to about 2', 105' in the air, with no kind of life line. Ugh, my mangina hurts just thinking about that place.

I'm not afraid of heights in a sense that I'll ******** or **** myself but I definitely don't feel comfortable enough to do that sorta stuff.
