i often wonder, when stories about a reporter being ***** or ****** pops up, did they really have to be there? i mean i understand being in country but being in the middle of a mob (in this case) or firefight really never seems like a smart idea...nevertheless i wish her well and hope she seeks help (for the mental turmoil) now rather than down the line

We don't know the full details of what happened, therefore we shouldn't speculate that it was just a "groping" just because that's the most ***** example of a sexual assault. Besides, articles can't come right out and call it a **** without being able to determine that with certainty, therefore it could have likely been one. The phrase "sexual assault" is usually a more cautious phrase that news organizations often use.
**** is a sexual assault, but is specifically ****** intercourse without consent. Sexual assault alone could mean a quick grope or anything that doesn't go as far as sexual penetration. Even none physical contact like flashing could be considered sexual assault.

Actually, I wasn't talking about this story, which is more generally sensational.
(Many of the other stories you post are definitely lib-bait and I was using that for perspective;

The reason I jumped on it was that nothing in the story itself mentioned "****" which seemed a little fishy,
so I looked into it, only to find out that this was never part of the report, but spammed across the internet
in a myriad of traffic-grabbing re-posts.

I can honestly say that's what I read and even Brian Williams said it just before I posted the thread. That's the only reason I included '****' in the title - because that was the report at the time.

That's what the story wants people to believe that Islam is bad and the Egyptians(is considered evil. Really they're not) sexual harrassed an American woman. They wouldn't report this story if she was an ugly fat fuck news journalist.
