Where is the disturbing aspect? He sure is no Hieronymus Bosch or Francis Bacon.
He's been selling them to private collectors over the years I do believe.
If he's been doing this since 1995 as the article states he should have sold them between 1998-2003 where he could have made the most due to the fact that 2003 was the last time he did anything noteworthy and had a lot more followers than he does today.

Perhaps. I know some are painted with absinthe from when he would accidentally dip his brush into his mug of absinthe instead of the thinner.
