by the way, no need for anyone to tell me it's from february, I already know it this.

That's not ironic. Irony is when the opposite happens from what is intended, generally to someone who is unaware of the fact.

It would be ironic if the man who tried to save the dogs ****** them. Dogs attacking people, being saved, and then going on to ****** someone else is not irony.

This for sure. Bad luck and coincidence are not irony. It's not ironic to have a "No Smoking" sign on your cigarette break. It is ironic if there's a "No Smoking - It Causes Cancer" sign and you work at Marlboro.

A man that prevented his dogs from being put down, got ****** by the exact same dogs.

That is ironic.

i'd have to go with not ironic. the dogs had attacked people already so to ****** another person seems reasonable and with a mastiff involved the fact that no one was already dead is the shocker.

This has already been explained to you!
Please reread some of the above posts.
:*****:

please explain to me again, I am at a loss I don't even know what irony is anymore, go on explain why this situation is not ironic.

It is Ironic as he won a legal battle to stop them being destroyed (probably saying they were not violent or the dogs feared a stranger or ******) yet they eventually attacked him their owner which would probably throw any defence he had of them out the window. Some would call it Poetic Justice if you wish to mull over that as well.
