***** vs. Gran Torismo

series for series which is better? I've gotta go with *****. I played ***** 3 and I played the demo for GT5. Gotta say the GT series just sucks in comparison. I realize its only a demo. But i've played which ever GT was on the PS2 and didn't care for it either. ***** just seems more polished to me. I can't put my finger on it but the GT series feels like its lacking something.

yeah its lacking alright, its lacking your review of a complete ps3 GT and an unbiased opinion. :hatsoff:

seriously, they are both great games. I think ***** 2 was a big disappointment however. Ive heard good things about 3 even though I didnt like the demo. Cars looked like chunks of lipstick and there was way too much pop in for an exclusive title....... Gran turismo series has always been about content. GT5 will be no different with its 1000+ car selection touching base on everything from yugo's to Nascar's.

I like ***** the most. I've played GT and it's alright.

With ***** I love customizing the cars to extreme levels. I seem to enjoy that the most than anything. Though I do feel the first ***** I spent more time playing than I am with the second. At some time I will get ***** 3.

Gran Turismo for sure. The global market tends to get overrun by *** cars in that game, but I like the gameplay better. I just really hope GT5 has online play.

*****! GT games are way to picky for my taste. ***** finds a good balance plus I like the upgrade system better.

i am an old gt lover so i must go for gt, but that said the demo of gt5 was just a test demo for a competition and was the same used for prologue and is not how the gt 5 fnal looks like. i have ***** 1.2 and 3 and they are far better then gt 4 i admit that but i cant say anything of gt 5 before it comes out final version.:thefinger

I had a history with GT before ***** won me over several years ago... I could never go back to GT... It's simply NOT fun. The driving in it sucks. I don't care if the cars look better than in *****, or if it has more content... What I care more about is racing cars that feel like racing cars... Where you can feel the traction of the tires on the road, the brakes when they lock up, etc... ***** portrays that well, GT does not. There's not enough sense of realism. Although for my money, I'd take T-o-c-a 3 for Simulation style racing over either any goddamn day.
