i guess you speak of their news outlets? and i agree the lean to the right but they really are fair and balanced and by far the entertaining news outlets i do trust their word for the most part over cnn and msnbc :glugglug:

yes im serious and i lean to the left far left... but they do give the other side a voice when it comes to a debit they always have someone from the right and the left and the host most times stays in the middle :1orglaugh
Their idea of a lefty is someone like the guy Colmes who used to do a show with Hannity.He fricking agreed with the **** Hannity way to much to be considered any sort of lefty,no real lefty ever gets on Fox or on any main stream media outlet for that matter.Rupert Murdoch (the owner of all those Fox stations and lots of others world-wide along with lots of newspapers) has a very strong right wing bias.
Great documentary ( a few years old now though) on just how biased Fox is was "Outfoxed". Former Fox news employees expose how they were directed to spin the news in a right wing way.Fox (news at least) should be ******!!:ban2::thumbsup:
PS: I like Nascar so watch some of the races and some of the baseball and football they show and some of the animated shows are cool.They should stick to entertainment, as a news outlet they are a ********.

The one that I watch the most isn't listed: Speed Channel.
Compared to Speedvision, Speed Channel is a rolling joke. But it's the only place I can watch most Formula One, GP2, ALMS and Star Mazda races. I do appreciate that (Fox's) Speed does dedicate more time than Speedvision did to associated F1 programming: F1 Debrief and Inside Grand Prix. But overall, Speed is basically what passes for the proposed NASCAR Channel a few years ago. Shows like Legends of Motorsport and Victory By Design have been dropped in favor of dopey reality shows like Pinks, Pinks All Out, Past Time and various NASCAR oriented programming.
My fear about NewsCorp is that its purchase of Dow Jones will mean a similar dumbing down of the Wall St. Journal, etc. in order to chase more profits from the least common denominators.

Anyone who believes that Fox News is "fair and balanced" should also believe in the easter bunny and the tooth fairy. That's what I dislike so much about the network....they pretend to be middle-of-the-roaders when the agenda is quite obviously tilted seriously to the right. Can you imagine Keith Olbermann or Rachel Maddow alleging that their views are anything other than liberal? For Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly to make such claims is beyond preposterous and an insult to the intelligence of their viewers.

heres some questions so....
cbs, nbc, and abc evening news are fair or do they lean to the the left???
so i take it msnbc is far left with no ratings...
cnn is in the middle with sucky ratings...
and fox is far right with the best ratings???
there "shows" i understand are to the right but their "news" fox report and fox news watch, american mor, live desk ect... are fair and in the middle :glugglug:

Your questions have nothing to do with my comment, Jay. To the best of my knowledge, Fox is the only network that claims to be "fair and balanced" when quite obviously they aren't (research Roger Aisles' past for further clarification). I'd say the old major networks (CBS, NBC and ABC) are far more balanced than Fox News is....but then again, they don't claim to be "fair and balanced" like Fox so it is a non-issue.
It's the hypocrisy of Fox News that makes them different from the others. I'd have no issue if they just came right out and said that they are right-leaning....which they obviously are.
MSNBC has centrist shows too. It's all in the eye of the beholder I suppose and depends whose ox is being gored. The closest to non-partisan news is NewsHour with Jim Lehrer and I guess nobody watches him so....he doesn't count?

Speaking just for myself, yes, it is. Bloomberg is much closer to what the old FNN (now CNBC) used to be: basic economic information and hard financial data, sans the Op/Ed by the on-air talking heads. Somewhat dry and bland, but there is no sign that any particular political point of view is being pushed. Bloomberg doesn't try to spice up its programming with screaming & shouting matches like CNBC does. Bloomberg does have its fair share of "money honeys", but that's as far as the network takes it. By having that talking pair of tits on during the mid day (Maria Caruso Cabrera), CNBC is just shy of being worthless, IMO. She should report, not offer her convoluted opinions. Anyone who listened to her was selling in March and transferring their money off-shore... cause you know, the end of capitalism may be upon us. I was buying. I'm pretty happy now. She was very wrong to open her trap in that hyperbolic fashion - but she won't be called out for it. Why? Hey, she has a small brain, but big tits, so I guess that's what CNBC cares most about.

IMO, CNBC really began its downward spiral when Fox Business News came on the scene. Fox is all about the glitz and glamour, the smoke & mirrors, and putting on a show for those who are fascinated by lights and shiney paint. So CNBC has also gone down that path to compete. I believe the legitimacy of the network's reporting has suffered. Because I've watched FNN/CNBC for almost 25 years, I'm really disappointed in what's become of it. CNBC still produces some excellent specials: "House of Cards", "The Age of Walmart", etc. But during the day, I now primarily watch Bloomberg. When I had a Bloomberg terminal, that showed me how serious, sincere and valuable the Bloomberg organization was in reporting financial news.
Right now, I rate Bloomberg as far & away the highest, then CNBC as being about half a step above Fox Biz News (which ain't sayin' much).
Your mileage may vary...
P.S. And yeah, I would agree that the NewsHour is the best pure news show on television. Unfortunately I don't have a PBS station on my service right now.
