can you blame him for not giving a **** playing for the suns?
He doesn't give a **** playing for anybody. He wants a cheque. I'm sure he'll make a big deal about it all and make some bullshit promise to help bring Cleveland to the promise land, and then he'll say Lebron is the best player he's ever played with, basically spitting in the face of Kobe, Wade and Nash. All of whom he previously said were the best players he's ever played with.

Shaq will once again talk smack about how he's going to bring Cavs the championship, give himself another silly nickname, and proclaim LeBron the best teammate he's ever had. Then he's going to hurt the team by being slow, injury prone, and lazy, and LBJ won't be able to stand him by mid season and the team chemistry will break down. When Cavs got eliminated in the playoffs once again LBJ will be so disgusted with Shaq that he'll want out of Cleveland and Shaq will tweet about LeBron being a crybaby. That's the Cavs 2009-2010 season for you.

Hell no the Cavs aren't the team to beat. They got Shaq. Not Dwight Howard. They still can't defend the perimeter and their guards are way to small to defend the likes of Orlando, and when Boston comes back with Garnett, Cleveland isn't even the team to beat in the East.

It looks like Beantown is fucking with Rondo publicly. I could understand trying to get rid of Ray Allen--old and unreliable with an expiring contract--for Rip Hamilton....but tossing ROndo into the deal makes ZERO SENSE....
It looks like Orlando is trying to pry Vince Carter out of NJ for Rafer Alston and Courtney Lee....now THAT would be HUGE for the Magic....

If I was Rondo I'd want out of Boston. Having your GM calling you all sorts of names in the press would be the final straw for me.
If Orlando can get Carter for bunch of bench players they will return to the Finals and not even KG or Shaq can do anything about it.
The Cavs gave up nothing to get Shaq. Assuming Shaq comes to play next season...I think the Cavs are penciled in to the East Coast Finals for sure. The Cavs still have Big Z and Varajao...after Shaq beats on Dwight Howard, Big Z and Varajao might have more success in scoring against DH. However, if the Magic do actually get Vince Carter and give up nothing for him...I agree...the Magic become the team to beat with Turkgalu.
I think the Lakers have to be laughing at all of this. The Rockets should be trying to get into some of these deals--they have a team that can challenge the Lakers. Maybe Portland will *grow up*, maybe Denver will keep it going....but I think all the Lakers competitors seem in chaos..

if carter howard , turkolu w/e lol and lewis dont make it to the nba finals next year together i will be shocked they will be the team to beat and the playoffs will go threw orlando
I still don't think they can beat a healthy Boston team. Especially with the development of Davis, Perkins and Rondo in the playoffs last year.
I like the trade for NJ. Lee is a good defender and has shown he can be a contributing SG on a contender. Him and Devin Harris stabilize a young, long back court for the next few years, at least.
Also, Chicago is rumoured to be in talks with Phoenix regarding Amare Stoudamire.
