16 Porn Stars test posative for HIV.

I blame the audience that wants to see only no condoms porn which in turn makes many of the companies do them regardless of the safety precautions being taken. I like both condoms and no condoms porn but only if the no condoms are done with alot of safety precautions cause there is a saying out there, it is called 'Safety First'. The porn industry makes billions a year, why don't they donate some of the money to fund more research to make a cure or vaccine for HIV? If the industry really cares about the performers then they should do that. There is however a possibility that the pornstars that have HIV may have caught it from outside the industry but again as I said fund more research into developing a cure or a vaccine for HIV and if the porn industry donates some money for research then that could be good publicity for the industry. Just wait for the anti-porn groups to use this news in their campaigns, knowing those anti-sexual freedom morons they will.

Edit. Can a mod please edit the thread title so positive is spelled right?

Ah. It makes sense now. I thought the thread was about posers trying to be pornstars.

Since 2004, 2,378 people who identified themselves as adult film industry performers have tested positive for chlamydia in Los Angeles County. An additional 1,357 tested positive for gonorrhea and 15 for syphilis, according to data released Thursday by the county's health department.

better not dream about attending a fuck-a-fan, ey?

It should be the opposite : If people were responsible, they would boycott no condpm porn.
I'm gonna start, to do it, right now.

I wouldn't say I'd blame the audience its the responsibility of the people having sex to take pre cautions before having sex but since in porn there's mostly not condoms we have to rely on other things such as making sure you don't have stds etc. I blame the people who had sex and the porn industry, I'd like to know how long they went without getting tested before they new they had HIV. As far as I know porn stars don't have to wear condoms? I think the other question now is should they wear condoms? I guess it would help promote safe sex?

The thing is that some people accept to have sex without precautions and it appears that the audience like this better than with precaution. So in order to breakthrough some decide to do the same the things are reversed : having sex without precautions get to be some kind of "minimum", if you don't accept to do so, you have no chance in the business.

When I watch adult films, I'm looking for an escape from reality. I want to suspend my disbelief. I want to think that sex is all about attractive people, in twenty positions, doing stuff that NORMAL people don't do in real life. That includes, but it not limited to, using condoms.

In real life, you're not switching positions every two minutes and banging super models who talk dirty and tell you how much they want your unprotected penis...and maybe "just the tip" in their ass.

Pornography is all about fantasy. Condoms shatter that fantasy in my opinion, and I'm sure a lot of other people agree. It's a sad truth about the industry...and now we're seeing the repercussions.

So you're saying you dont want them to use condoms, but still blame them for not using them?

No, I'm saying that I personally don't want to watch them use condoms and that a lot of other people don't either, but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't because of risk and reward. More money/fans at the risk of HIV isn't worth it.

Yeah, from reading that there appears only to be a male and a female porn star diagnosed, with six more people, an undisclosed number of whom may be porn stars, pending tests. Still, it the woman would have had to get it from somewhere and that somewhere may have been someone else in the industry for all anyone knows.

As for condoms in porn, they never made a difference to my enjoyment of it, and if anything, I always appreciated seeing them being used. A large number of porn stars now are in a position to be able to attract a following even if they demand that condoms are used, due to their fanbase, and all the industry would lose is the money shot, which, to be fair, is more of a turn-off than a turn-on. If the more prominent stars were to champion the cause, it could lead to the adoption of protection as a standard for most of the industry, hopefully.

On playboy in 1998 they had a documentary on Adult actors.
Contracting and dying inside and after making many movies.
Did anyone watch this same short film?
