Guys: Have any of you REALLY tried...

to be in porn?

There have been a lot of threads about "I want to, and what should I do".

I wanna hear from those that are in the trenches.

I ask because I have. Auditions suck, and can be a little embarrassing the first time. I've done 2 auditions so far and I don't think anything is gonna pan out from the small time companies I've been to.

For the record: I don't have the money to move to Cali or to start my own site or production company.

Besides, I don't want to be a star, just have some fun and make some money.

OCSMs and camgirls, what do you think?

i am not "qualfied" :crying:

you have to do gay porn first. everyone knows that.

I have thought about but Decided I would be better behind the camera. Pretty soon I am planning on becoming an PA for a porn company. It's a great job from I have heard. As soon as I get out of college. But to be a pornstar you have to have a really hot girl with you and you both have to go together. Thats the only way they will accept you of course.

I need to figure out how to get a girl in bed first. I don't think I could be a pornstar anyways though. I'd be the only pornstar crying on the set because I have ed and can't get erect. It's all good though, because America is full of other opportunity for me.

I love big booty too!
Here's some advice from Vanessa Blue (her MySpace page, www.myspace.com/therealvanessablue):

Interested in getting into the porn industry ???
I always get asked the same question....

How do I get to become a pornstar ?

So instead of replying to every email I get with that question, I decided to just post some useful information about getting into the industry.

If you're a guy, its really tough to get to be male talent. It usually takes a "large personality" or a really hot chick that wants to get in. If you dont have either, you still have an option.... start your own production company.

But that takes money!! Of course, anything involving hot chicks having sex involves money. Hey we dont come cheap!!

But before you decide you going to invest your next paycheck into starting DymePieces.com, you really should know how to be legit. And when I say legit I mean legal -- as in the right contracts and model releases -- all the necessary paperwork so that the police dont show up at your door.

The best place to find out all that information is www.AdultBizLaw.com -- you can join that site and get all the legal docs you need and they even have a way so that you can actually talk to a lawyer so you can be sure everything is legit. At least sign up for their FREE newsletter so you can stay informed.

If you do have the right size or the hot chick, contact a talent agent in LA and submit your pics and just maybe you will have the right look and be picked to be the next big star. You can find a list of all the agents at www.TheFloatingWorld.com under the Biz section.

One thing I have learned from my "auditions", there is nothing embarrassing I can do anymore. Seriously.

...and Calpoon... really? DUUuuuuuude!! I just CAN'T do that!!

 I'm NOT gonna do gay porn. Besides, this isn't a new career goal, its something to bring in extra money.

...and if going gay is the way, then NEVER MIND!! :dunno: I'll rob a few convenient stores first!!!!

I don't think I could be gay for a few scenes just to be a pornstar. You look like your happy though with the extra cash. It's all good though Stamped, no one is calling you gay.

Banned?
The closest I came was when I saw an ad in a local paper calling for "male adult performers" and I thought "That could be interesting" and that was it.

I don't think I ever would, that isn't saying no, but I don't think I'd go too far out of my way for it to happen.

You don't have to be wealthy to start a site and you don't have to move to California.

No one has to do "gay for pay" first. If they do that, they wanted to. ;)

It's true though unless your lucky. I believe even Peter North had to do gay porn first.

Peter North wanted to. ;)

I was approached on the street by some fat guy in a brown suit who said I looked relativly healthy. He asked me if I wanted to appear in a porno. Thinking for a moment, this being England I wouldnt have been able to "perform" with American porn stars. But I though maybe it would have been Lolly Badcock or Angel Long, you know I could have been lucky...

So I said yes, he told me he would explain to me how it all works on the way, so I got in the back of his van. It smelt slightly of mold, that was the first sign of many that I might have made the wrong decision. He said that I would be doing a "MILF" scene, which I didnt mind I have had experiences with older women before so I was still relativly comfortable.

When we got to his place, there were a few people there camera men, lighting men etc etc the producers senile mother was also there which I thought was strange. As it turns out it was her house and the producer paid well to film there. Anyway I had a shower, took a shit and had a shave. Not specifically in that order. And I was all ready to go through with it. Walking in the bedroom (naked of course) I tried to surpress the nerves and focus of the hot MILF I was about to bone. Which I hadnt seen up to now (another warning sign).

Okay, so, that wasnt the producers mother . . . .

To cut a long story short we are now married, well she's dead now and she left me all her money and the house  I still do a scene or two now and again, you know on the GILF circuit. But is not the same as it was with my dear Agness.

Maybe it's for the best you don't get a job like that. I wouldn't want to be associated with most of those people.

Plus as far as money goes the men make hardly anything. The only ones that make any money at all are the ones that manage to do an insane number of scenes, like 20 or 30 a month or something like that. It wouldn't take long for something like that to get old. It's not all it's cracked up to be in any event. Male performers have even a lot less leverage in what they do then even the women, which is virtually none for somebody just starting out. You're probably not going to be doing everything you like most of the time, or banging hot chicks all the time.

I personally would Love to get into the industry but more behind the camera and the other technical sides of it.. As far as the male performers my hat goes of to them because their job is far harder then any female performers :hatsoff:

Yeah but Cali, is where it's at... big name producers/photographers there... I'd check Google if I were you, search it, and you'd be amazed. I think Texas, and Chicago have some decent ones too, but cali has the "conglomerate"
