What made me hungry was this part:

the most rewarding part of frog gigging is the feast that ensues. The meat is a delicious white meat, juicy and flavorful when fresh and properly prepared.

And No M12, I'm not a frog-eater. But after reading this story I'd be willing to at least try them.
