The article you cited has nothing to do with ******* immigrants/undocumented workers. It doesn't. The reason teens in MN and other parts of the nation aren't finding jobs is because companies aren't hiring or they are hiring semi-retired workers or fresh out of college workers who are agreeing to become "underemployed." Or, as Sputnik said, more teens today are growing up more materially-advantaged, narcissistic, lazy...(who pays the cellphone bill?)
Again, when America has X millions amount of people here that aren't supposed to be here, and that are being employed by some company somewhere, they are affecting Americans, whether you are going to admit it ot not.
White Supremacy groups that use the bible as their "foundation" are, of course, hypocrites because there are no white people in the Bible! What color and background are Jesus, Mary, Joseph, Moses? They ain't White people. .
I don't know how anybody could lump "white sumpremacy" in with religion. My moms congregation is quite diverse, ethinically. I just don't get this line of thought. It's not in line with religion, and what religion is.

When I identify something or someone as racist I don't confuse that with making an argument. But the more "polite" forms of racism are often masked under various other arguments and guises. It makes it that much more insidious.
It is quite possible that Dobbs IS "about" helping the lower/middle class, even though he is not among it. It's possible for the wealthy to care about those further down the (socio)economic ladder (just remember that the next time you bash a wealthy Dem, such as John Edwards). It's also possible for someone who wants to help the lower/middle class to engage in racism and to focus their concerns in such a way that, explicitly or implicitly, they are furthering racist narratives and feeding racist impulses. One can care about helping the lower/middle class and still be a racist - it's not inherently contradictory.

Immigration into Britain from the newer EU states particularly Poland has increased markedly .. with all the issues that it raises coming to the forefront.
One city where it has been cited as a problem is Peterborough .. where Poles have been working in the farming sector. A TV reporter stood outside the JobCentre interviewing local youths who readily trotted out the "foreign scum taking our jobs" routine.
The interviewer returned later and promised the same youths a job for £7 an hour .. ($14) a rate above the minimum wage .. they said they would rather draw the dole .. than work picking vegetables.
The point has been made about employers hiring illegals in the US .. I feel this is such a big part of the problem .. if employers were not so profit greedy and hired legal local workers the problem would diminish ..

So we can only conclude that it is more about where immigrants are from then immigration itself.I don't know why you try to run away from that so much as I think that view is actually very prevelant in the country when it comes to the debate over immigration.The problem with all that is that it's like trying to swim against the tide of changes that are always happening in our culture.New groups have always faced this same resentment.Protestant america thought all the catholic immigrants(Irish and Italians mainly) would change america fundamentally and they were widely resented and discriminated against for a time.But we got ****** that and absorbed them into our common culture for the most part.And the truth is that with or without immigration Hispanics are going to be a large segment of our culture as they already are.I have no doubt that like the Italians and Irish they will be assimilated and their differences as americans will be relatively insignificant in the future.
It's not about where immigrants are from. My first source is as liberal as it gets, and the lad can't get a job. If millions of people from northern Europe were coming into the country, my beliefs would still be the same. It is not about race! I know about all the Irish history in this country. They were treated like scum, but I frankly just think that immigration is hurting the States.
Man tha UK is so much worse, I been looking for a job for ages after quitting my last. They totally opened the floodgates for the Eastern Europeans, and now more are enetring in months than Pakistanis and other Asians are entred in years.
And thanks to no background checks, some of their scum is freely entering too.

Employers, at least in that area are simply not hiring or are hiring older and presumably more experienced workers.
