Anyone know french here?

petit means small. i dunno what coeur means but if its cock your prolly not in with much of a chance. :1orglaugh

just joking

I know a little french.

But Petit is french for Small

Small heart if compared to having a big heart at least in English is definatly a negative I think.Sorry if that is bad news or maybe she meant something else than the way I am taking it here.

Never translate french-to-english or vice-versa in a word-to-word kinda way, most of the time, it doesn't make any sense.

That's what I thought, it implies cold hearted. A lack of warmth or consideration?

Yes and I think if a girl tells you don't have a big heart that means she eitheir thinks you did'nt spend enough on her, or she thinks you are nasty to little ******** and small dogs or something. It sure don't sound good .

So what is Sweet Heart in french? She told me that during a intercourse... I was about to finger her and she said ''Entre pas tes doigts, petit coeur.'' And if I translate it, it would be ''Don't enter your fingers, sweet heart''. But it really the ''Petit Coeur'' that confuse me. Because in french it probably has different meaning.

maybe she was saying

''Entre pas tes doigts petit, coeur"

cause your small finger isn't enough to turn her on ;)

My first language is french and I can tell you that if she called you petit coeur it's a cute thing that's pretty similar to sweetheart .

Ah, yes...literal translations. I tend to do that when I'm reading. Makes things interesting, I tell ya.

Thanks everyone, I feel more confident. It kinda confusing.

French is so confusing, I took 8 years of French in school and can't speak a single word of it. I wish it was not mandatory to learn it in school

I took two years of French and two years of Spanish.

Horrific accent, remember a few words, and I always read literally.

Yep. My mandatory foreign language studies REALLY paid off.

Same here

What always pissed me off was that it ended up being useless for most of the people because they never learned enough to become fluent in it in the first place and once they were out of the class and didn't use it they forgot almost everything they learned. I ask people that used to take years of it if they remember any significant amount at all and most of them can't even remember more than a few sentences. The whole mandatory foreign policy thing is like something some idiot policy maker came up with because it sounded good when he had no idea how things work in the real world. What makes me even more bitter about it is my high school GPA would have been terrific instead of just really good if it wasn't for it because I had a lot of important non-school things I needed to do at home and was never able to study it because it put it lower in priority than more important classes.
