If there was a New Thread of the Week (NTOTW) then this would definitely get my nomination.

Fabulous idea minidog.

I LOVE that Star Trek/Star Wars ship comparison.

And the first pic after that was Red Dwarf. A big  cabey.

And as far as Thunderbirds goes. I thought almost everything they made were cool. The cars, tanks, everything. No one was better at that stuff then the British.

Great thread - IMO - everyone.

Cabey was sort of going along the right lines.

But he didn't mention the one they spent most of the time in Red Dwarf.

Starbug

Now that was a ship. No weapons of which to speak and flown by a crew of idiots.

My favourite was the first Red Dwarf that looked like a transmission. It was just fun. Not sleek, just fun.

Starbug was great. But during Series 7 they went nuts and started trying to make it this mini Red Dwarf, which I thought was silly. I liked it much better in Series 6.

10.864 miles to be exact...fucking hell thats a big ship, if the stats are to be believed.

Where do they get the measurements from anyway??

Great thread, Ive always wondered how the ships of varying shows in the sci fi universe line up against one another. Any chance of more comparative information about the various fighters? How would say an x-wing line up along a Hammerhead (Space above and beyond) etc
