Terms that drive you crazy!!!!!!

"Plenty more fish in the sea" [after a breakup]

I don't want a fucking fish, i want a girl. Idiots.

"Every cloud has a silver lining"

Chances are they weren't talking about a cloud.

How about **** and some adults inserting the word "like" into every other word.

"I was, like, going there but, like, I wanted, like, that... (duhhhhhh)

Brain dead idiots, learn to talk!

Or how about, "Deal or no deal". A chimp could do his job.
Or "Is that your final answer."
Why do people take reality show/game show lines and ****** them into everyday use?
Oh, and Survivor, that's a game show folks.

"Bling" or "Bling Bling" to refer to jewelery....argghhhhhhhhhhh, retarted beyond belief and now it's supposedly in the dictonary....truly the decline of civilization if such a moronic illiterate term is being put in the dictonary.

in the dictionary? no fucking way! i **** that term.

When i'm casually walking down the street and some fucking *** in a burberry cap and adidas trousers comes up to me and goes "Oi mate, you starting?"

No, as a matter a fact it is YOU who is "starting"...

When i'm casually walking down the street and some fucking *** in a burberry cap and adidas trousers comes up to me and goes "Oi mate, you starting?"

No, as a matter a fact it is YOU who is "starting"...

And then you pretty much have to **** them!

I never got the term, "I **** your guts". You would think that would go without saying. I don't know anybody's guts I like.

EDIT: Add in the term, "That would go without saying" to the list.

I **** it when people explain something and they start by saying 'obviously' .

oh and i **** it when people speak in abbreviations like 'FYI' for example

I'm actually quite guilty of this one myself!!! :1orglaugh

lol

Well Rogue, to be honest I'm guilty of that one once and a while too, actually.

;)

How about the overuse of the word "exactly", most often as a substitute for the word "yes"?

That one's become all the rage.

(and another I do myself from time to time)

When people use the term dialogue instead of talking. That's a 50 cent word where a 10 cent would've sufficed. They say dialogue because they think it makes them sound deep and profound.

No it makes you sound like an asshole that thinks they're too hip for the room. Save the buzzwords for the beekeepers!
