Your favorite movie fight scenes

Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I hear you out there laughing, but this movie really has a good fight scene. Without giving too much of the plot away, King Arthur battles the Black Knight. I'm not saying any more because I don't want to ruin it for you. Now, stop laughing and go see what I'm talking about.

LMAO Good one!

The final fight scene between Charlestown and Syracuse in Slap Shot, that ends with Ned Braden stripping down to his jockstrap and skates. :rofl2:

I just saw 300 and that movie has some of the best fight scenes ever. I think is my new favorite war epic. :D Awesome movie!

It is great, but I wouldn't exactly call it an epic.

And what about Snatch?- the infamous final battle in which Brad Pitt’s pikey Mickey is required to take a dive in the fourth round is a barnstormer of a finale, perfectly underscored by Oasis track “Fuckin’ In The Bushes” and Guy Ritchie’s frenetic editing.

:D It felt like that to me probably 'cos I was in front row.

When I think "epic" I think or LOTR,Braveheart,Gladiator.I don't think you can have an epic movie under 2 1/2 hours. Maybe when I see it on IMAX it'll feel epic.

I gotta go with Neo against the gang of Smiths from The Matrix: Reloaded, its just a lot of fun to watch.

It would have been good if it had not started to look like "Schrek" half way through the fight. **** poor CGI imo.

Techically speaking, an epic movie is based on how long it is, its by what takes place in the movie.

1. Bruce Lee vs....anyone. Jet Li and Jackie Chan (esp in ******* Master) I will say I love as well.

2. The Bride vs. Crazy 88s (**** Bill)

3. Bond vs the Russian in From Russia with Love (on the train). There have been some good fights in the movies sometimes...

4. Neo vs. Smith (in the the first Matrix).

5. Charles Bronson vs Henry Fonda in Once Upon A Time In the West

6. And a bunch from Lord Of The Rings as well...(mostly in terms of awe)

That's all I can think of for now really..

Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon in Bull Durham!

"Crash Davis: I never told him to stay out of your bed.
Annie Savoy: You most certainly did.
Crash Davis: I never told him to stay out of your bed.
Annie Savoy: Yes you did.
Crash Davis: I told him that a player on a streak has to respect the streak.
Annie Savoy: Oh fine.
Crash Davis: You know why? Because they don't - -they don't happen very often.
Annie Savoy: Right.
Crash Davis: If you believe you're playing well because you're getting laid, or because you're not getting laid, or because you wear women's underwear, then you ARE! And you should know that!
[long pause]
Crash Davis: Come on, Annie, think of something clever to say, huh? Something full of magic, religion, bullshit. Come on, dazzle me.
Annie Savoy: I want you."

:D
Baseball is right around the corner.

Whoops, i meant "an epic movie is NOT based on how long it is"

I can't fucking wait for 300! Tempted to get it sooner in more "*******" ways, but i think it needs to be seen on the big screen first.
