John, you just leveled up in the likeability department being a fan of Tony Iommi’s solo work. I tell Tony’s story of determination and perseverance to anyone who is willing to listen. Thank you for doing what you did for honoring such a great man and artist. One of my heroes in life too.

1. Gary Moore, ex-Thin Lizzy lead guitarist, playing two covers ... One you know.
On the second, he's playing "Greenie" - Peter Green's 1959 Les Paul.
2. Rory Gallagher, ex-Taste guitarist, playing a cover and an original ...

Born Again may be the most polarizing Black Sabbath album of all. I love it but know how much damage that tour did to Ian Gillan's voice. Whenever I wear my Born Again shirt somebody always has a comment and sometimes my wife has to witness and endure a 30 minute nerdfest on something she has zero (the hero

Three of Free's songs from their setlist at the Isle of Wight Festival (1970) : "Be My Friend" "Mr. Big" and "All Right Now"
Paul Rodgers with the underated lead guitarist Paul Kossoff (wearing the vest) along with Simon Kirke's great powerful drumming. The other half of the rhythm section was the incredible Andy Fraser as the bassist.
It's played over again from different angles. First from the back, Kirke and Kossoff. Then from the front, where you see Paul Rodgers singing and fronting the band.

Paul Rogers is one of the all-time best Rock 'n' Roll Vocalists. Very smooth. I definitely like Free and Bad Company. I also bought The Firm's first album on cassette 3 years before Christ was born. Hey John, did you ever check out when he fronted Queen? I either never saw or can't remember.

Paul Rodgers is a good friend of Roger Taylor's. And he was asked by Brian May to sing. Yes, he helped. But he's more of a baritone. A rich bluesy singing voice. Freddie was more of a tenor and as such was much more adept at changing his octave range. He could go high and then go very high. Something that Paul had some difficulty with. Adam Lambert is much more closer to Freddie's singing range than Paul could ever be. Probably the only other singer who could take over for Freddie would be the great Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. Steven's voice before the recent health issues could probably match Freddie's.
