I would like to challenge these supposed aliases for her which exist on the internet including in this thread title/tags:
- Carol Masters - listed on theNude but with which porn studio was she credited as this?
- Claire - again, is among her aliases on theNude but which studio was she Claire?
- Kathy Gold - listed on a few indexing sites but give me an example of a scene where she's credited as this? PornTeenGirl literally have this as her primary name and yet don't say where it comes from!
- Katy - can't find any evidence of her ever being called just Katy - Katy Gold yes, but not just "Katy". theNude is the only site to list it seems but doesn't back it up
More than likely, she did use them at some point, but stopped for one reason or another. I've seen women debut with a name, and then a month later, or even a week later, they stop. I've even seem a few who changed their name the day after they debuted.
- They had a bad experience with a website/co-star/magazine/photographer/manager/etc.
- They get a cease & desist letter to stop using a name for some reason. Not so long ago, there was a new pornstar who debuted and got sued, because the name she was going by was the name of someone she went to school with. Also, remember what happened to "Katsumi".

Which is fair enough if so, but I would question what good it is anyone listing out aliases for her if nobody actually knows where they came from, if they are accurate or whether they even are supposed to be in circulation. They are the only four I'd bring into the question because I was able to verify the rest.
Anyway, Claire and Katy are kinda bland ones which are like whatever. Katy makes more sense than Claire given that she was known as Katy Gold... but if she was only known as that then Katy seems unecessary unless she was legitimately called that on a site.
Kathy Gold kinda sounds right but it isn't... and is maybe just a typo of Katy Gold. But when does someone's typo become an alias for someone? We don't know if it was a porn studio who made the mistake or just someone online, and it got around.
As for Carol, everyone knows she was known as Carol this, that and the other... so Masters is just another one to add into the mix. Like I say though, can't find it even having looked for it.
What I did find as part of my research though is two more aliases for her which haven't been widely reported... Holly B. and Julie
They are from the scenes Pussy Play 6 (2006) and Young Busty 8 (2010) respectively.
IAFD have logged her as such on both entries but they are not part of her main bio which is why many have overlooked it.
This is the thing, correct & well-researched info can be hidden away and largely unknown to the masses whereas other names can be widely distributed when they were perhaps created from thin air.
Who knows? ...and there's nothing to say some if not all of those 4 names I mentioned didn't have legit origins after all, but I'm just saying - it's very difficult to find!
I wouldn't normally research someone in such a forensic fashion by the way but this was a particular point of interest given that she is one of the more popular and well-known babes to have been on the scene, and these were my findings.
Cheers, John - although there's a bit more to what I'm asking than just what aliases people are listed as having on websites like these. I'm saying "OK, so these sites are saying that they are called this, that and the other - but where's the proof?"
I found it for all bar those 4 names I mentioned.
And seeing as you reference it, that lanasbigboobs.com is filled with misinformation. She has had her names mixed up with Clara G because not only is Carol known as Klara G (close to Clara G) they also appeared in scenes together and on a website called clara-g.com ... but it's kind of not suprising that this confusion occured.
