Should there just be a "Mass shooting in the US" sticky thread?

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
A well regulated militia is the army G. The "people" are what you're referring to. I know it means little to nothing to you, but there's a comma between the militia, and the people, clearly separating them. All throughout the Constitution, it refers to "the people" when describing citizenry.

Having said that, all I can say is hopefully he will be charged with terrorism (national holiday), and he will be executed for his crimes. I hope the new back round check, and red flag laws help stop this crap.

The 2nd Amendement guarantees that "the right to bears arms shall not be infringed" so why aren't RPG, mortars, grenades, etc. not allowed ? Why can't the American people bear such arms ? Isn't that an infringement to the right to bear arms ?
Could it be that the government fears the damages such arms could do, much more than the damages guns and rifles could do ?

You don’t know me. I am a fanatic over using the Oxford comma. Commas are very important.

I have no issue with citizens bearing arms. It is the type of arms available for purchase and the lack of training required. We both agree that citizens should be able to own muskets. (The weapon of choice in 1787.)

I didn't mean the grammar. I meant the explanation. But the "militia's". don't use muskets anymore, and the Amendment was meant to keep us on equal ground.

Because in 1934, the 2nd Amendment was usurped, by the FFA of '34.

Tucker Carlson Points Finger At Women And Weed For Latest Mass Shooting

Fox News host Tucker Carlson has a theory about alleged mass shooting suspects, and part of the blame lies with women and weed.

Carlson, during an episode of his show on Tuesday, weighed in on the appearance of 21-year-old Highland Park, Illinois, shooting suspect Robert E. Crimo.

Crimo has been charged with multiple counts of first-degree ****** after allegedly ******* at least seven people and injuring dozens of others at a Fourth of July parade in the Chicago suburb Monday.

Carlson, who questioned why Crimo didn’t “raise an alarm” on his show, claimed there’s “a lot” of men who look and act like him.
The right-wing commentator blamed social media, porn, video games and ***** for the actions of men accused of mass shootings.
“They are high on government-endorsed weed, ‘smoke some more, it’s good for you...’” Carlson said.

Carlson proceeded to claim that gunmen in massacres think they’ll be “worse” off than their parents.
“And yet the authorities in their lives ― mostly women ― never stops lecturing them about their so-called privilege.”

Porn, video games ans *****. Netherlands have all this. Yet, you don't here about mass shootings in, the Netherlands. Why ?
Coul it be that Netherlands have very restrictive *** laws ?

When you see pics of the asshole who shot up HP you will wonder if her is the poster boy for Loons International.
His *** certainly qualifies for inclusion on the poster with him.

His *** signed a consent form for him to apply for *** ownership - 2 years after threatening to “**** everyone” at his house in September 2019. If anyone should have been weary of the ***, it is the ******.

That is a normal week in the US. :(

What are Uvalde officials trying to hide hear ? 'cause they are clearly trying to hide something, something that was done that they don't want the public to know about it. Wrong doing from cops ? Like, a nervous cop being a little too trigger happy and shooting a *** or a teacher because he feaed that could have been the shooter ?
I'm just asking...
I think they were trying to hide this: https://www.politico.com/news/2022/07/17/systemic-failures-uvalde-school-massacre-00046253

"[W]e found systemic failures and egregiously poor decision making.”

The first responders were more concerned about their own personal safety instead of the victims.

The 'good guy with a ***' strategy worked here (except for the 3 ****** prior to the ******** being ******):

I wouldn't call it a "strategy", so much as a reality of how things work, and good fortune for the people. It's sad 3 lives were lost, but I guess it's not as good for the *** grabbers when it doesn't hit double digits, or a lawful *** owner proves a point.

It is a strategy. The NRA and others keep promoting the idea of arming teachers.

“***-grabbers” would prefer zero lives lost to *** ********. That is not realistic though. I would appreciate more training and oversight for non-muskets.

I would prefer the liberals quit treating *** ********, like bass fishing, because catch and release isn't working. How many people die every day, whether innocent victim, or criminal, ******* criminal? I don't see anyone screaming for the singular ***** deaths that occur everyday, due to drive by shootings, or teens in gangs, or involved in *****? Do you think it might add up to one "mass" shooting, which by the way has become a great little catch phrase for the anti *** nut jobs, to describe more then ONE PERSON ****** at a time. A law abiding citizen, did a good thing, but it's not good enough, and it never will be, which is sad, because he saved lives, and deserves his due for that. The pathetic part of all this is, even if that little leftwing utopia were possible, you still have a criminal enterprise with a massive infrastructure, that will easily get guns of ANY type into this country. Even if they pull off a ban on certain firearms, there are more then enough out there, and enough people willing to turn to crime, when the price is right. I doubt ANY law abiding advocate for 2nd Amendment would willingly turn in a serial number, for registration, let alone a ***, and it would like push a lot of people over the edge. Which is also sad, because instead of trying to fix the problem WITHOUT ********* Constitutional rights, nothing gets fixed, and when little tiny glimpses of hope shine through, lets just dismiss them. I think if you search hard enough, you will find that I pay little attention to the NRA. I also think you might find my thoughts on safe schools, are aimed more towards securing perimeters, and access, as opposed to making someone not comfortable with guns, learn how to use one. I find it hard to believe that it's unrealistic to limit access and exit from a school campus, when houses are kept locked, parents lo jack their **** to keep tabs, and there are certain rules ******** must abide by, so their parents feel safe. Obviously those very from parent to parent, but honestly, even if no shootings were guarantee, I would still want them on lock down, if I were a parent. I would expect that the school would keep them where they belong, while at school, as opposed to cutting class. Doors can be kept locked, but still allow fire exit during emergencies, and a main entrance with security and metal detectors is more then reasonable, if our public officials have them for security, so should our ********. .

You don’t see the pleas to stop daily *** ********? I hear them all the time. Usually on the local news outlets after a ***, ********, ******, ******, etc. has been ********. Red flag laws are an attempt to stop those events. I believe most ****** victims knew their assailant - acquaintances, partners, spouses, et al.

Since this is a thread on mass shootings, the subject matter is subject to bias. I would **** to open up a thread on single-victim *******. It would be quite depressing. We could also post the sentences which are probably not as lenient as you suggest. I will let you post the research.

For *******, I am a supporter of the death penalty. As long as we get it right.

A law abiding citizen, did a good thing, but it's not good enough, and it never will be, which is sad, because he saved lives, and deserves his due for that.
The guy stopped the situation from getting worse. He should be commended. Three people still died. That is still a fact. Zero dying would have been better.

I think if you search hard enough, you will find that I pay little attention to the NRA.
I did not mean to assert you did. You referenced armed teachers not being a strategy. I used the most vocal supporter of such a strategy to prove that it is indeed a strategy. You may or may not agree with it, but it is being promulgated by leading *** advocates.

I refer to the politicians, mostly on the left, that like to slap wrists, and make excuses. Of course the people want it stopped, but the government doesn't care about ******, one or 100, and they could all be babies, they don't care, they just use it as an excuse to take away rights. Rights we, as law abiding citizens are guaranteed, but you don't see them screaming on national TV, to stop the gang, and **** ********, you never hear them call for harsh mandatory prison sentences, or when appropriate deportation. You see them when a mall or school gets shot up, and then the first course of over reaction is to ban, or take away, never lets take car of bad guys first lets reduce the ****** rate significantly whenever we can, on a smaller level.

Yeah, I know 3 people still died, is that what you would be saying if the citizen took a bullet for his efforts too? How unbelievably horrible, that that is what you say about a guy that risked his life, to try and reduce loss of life. I gotta say, you sound awfully ungrateful, and a little dicky. I would expect that from johan, but you surprise me with that. Would you tell a person that shoveled your drive for free, "yeah, okay, but you missed a little on the apron, or sidewalk?

No, you are not dicky for that, but you have to admit, ragging on a guy who stopped a potently horrible situation from escalating, because he wasn't good enough, that's pretty bogus dude. He did better then some *************** has, and he did make it a better situation.
