Thank you so far have been lucky as States to the North have been getting up to 2 feet of snow. I heard on the morning news about another storm Sunday.

Thank you Ban we were lucky here thankfully power has stayed on , not a lot of snow maybe 5". Some of it went down with the mix of freezing rain and mixed with ice. Some windy days here with gusts up to 40 mph. So wind chill made it feel in the low teens. So snow blowing around from the ground, trees and roof.
I hope you have been good hope no long power outage. This past weekend by the Weather Channel it looked like you were possibly going to get a lot of rain. Hope that was not the case, or heavy winds. ****** nature is causing a lot of mess all over. Stay safe & take care.

I think we got just over 1.5" of rain, and the wind was like 10-15, gusting 25-30. Thankfully the power outages were mostly just annoying, interrupting work on the computer as the electricity couldn't decide if it wanted to be on or off for a few minutes, but then staying off for like 20 min and being fine for a few hours before it acted up again. The worst was when it went out sometime in the middle of the night, mainly because it was out so long and some of us were caught in a bathroom in pitch black, the cat didn't like the total darkness, and because without our little noise makers, you can hear the surprising amount of traffic on the main road about 1000 feet away. But the house holds heat well (not such a good thing in summer) and we were all fine under normal winter covers until it came back.
