Snopes can be accurate at times but generally it is something so obvious that it is the only conclusion someone can draw.
Their attempt at discrediting this with that weak photo is disturbing because what I see in the close up of the portrait looks far more like what a stern cell would look like and not a forehead vein.
The artist is very provocative and he has a reputation for pulling stunts in his work.
This is his most high profile artwork yet.
I think he intentionally did this.
