Banning pronography

I heard this Guy this morning talking about blocking pornography from everyone in australia
he wanted a swidish thing were its blocked at the isp leave not just software
because he dosnt like females. I hope to god he is alone on this but i fear the gov is right behind him.
One of this clowns arguments in the big D world degrading i bet theres a few degraded rich pornstars who agree (not). Why do they always go there.

NO!!!!!!!!! Well I don't live in australia but if their government decides to ban porn then whats to stop other countries from following suit?

We need an Australian to chime in on this. I don't know why they would be bothered by porn. From what I understand from talking to my friend in Oz, they have full frontal nudity on their public television, so that makes me think that the claim is probably unfounded.

Orwell was right.........If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face — for ever.

Hahahaha...not possible!

Even if they could find a way of doing it. Then it would just go underground like it was in the begining.

doesnt australia have legal prostitution? if so, then have you ever seen a bigger double standard?

yeh prostitution is legal in Australia and Aussies love their porn so i dont think they will ban it. Stranger things have happened though.

Well the gov has majority and a religious nut as pm
but this guy was a left wing nutbag (oxymoron he aint got none)
why is it that every moron can tell me what i can and cant do I for one cant sand it and i wish i could find these morons and sit'em down and tell them what they can do
poggy1 what he explained was that in swiden the isp's ban other isp it very easy (like spam filters for isps)...
Dro50 i understand that its not possible to get everything but i for one think we should censor the morons (not me but)
damn right we do not much but about 2 nights ago full frontal shaved and all Joanna Thomas nearly rip'd me pants lol
and a resent survey says 70% dont mind porn but 70% can kiss the pm ass if he dosent agree 2c
oh ps i live in porn capital of australia which just happens to be capital of oz too Haha

Re: Banning pronography, China did !

Dude...it's not possible to ban anything anymore....*****, alchohol, ******* immigration..happens despite "bans"

Is it possible to ban pornography in the internet? Yes

China has blocked many websites based on IP addresses including most pornographic sites.

United States Congress also ****** all online internet gaming. It was last Friday that I realized the Government can do what they please.

U.S. Congress will introduce a bill in the near future to attempt control of all pornographic sites by requiring the domain name ending with .xxx

i.e. Premium Link Upgrade

Well, they ****** guns...and I'm sure the criminals still get them...so I imagine porn would be the same...they'll do what they want, and the people will have to become criminals just to see some boobies. At least thats how I see it...because you know a horndog isn't getting ride of his smut, and he's never gonna be happy with the size of his collection.

Only certain part of town in Australia is allowed to have legal prostitution.

Some of the local laws regarded to prostitution are very strict i.e. girls are not allowed to go to hotels. They have to remain in their premises from 8-1 or 2 a.m. (?)

But the laws vary a lot from city to city and town to town and the West is different than the East Coast of Australia.

Canada also "restricts" the use and possession of guns but did it prevent Montreal school shooting few weeks ago. The answer is NO !

Despite China ****** pornography, the prostitution business in the southern border towns in China is booming and HIV/AIDS in China and India will override Africa soon !

No, It did not! Congress passed a law making it ******* to transfer funds directly to and from ******** websites. That is a far cry from "Banning" internet ********. Although some of the major sites have temporarily suspended activity in the US until they make sense of how to obey, and get around, the laws, many ******** sites are conducting business as usual.

Hell, I'm playing poker on Bodog right now and I just layed a 5 Game parlay on the NFL!

Know the facts! This is how rumors get started and people get all in an uproar over fictitious bullshit.

That implies that every other country on earth does exactly what Australia does. What's to stop other countries is, well, other countries. China seems to have ****** quite a bit of porn but every other country hasn't "followed suit". I guess China must not have nearly the influence that Australia does. You know the Taliban in Afghanistan has regularly scheduled beheadings every Friday afternoon, but thank God SOMETHING has stopped most every other country from following suit. Come to think of it, that SOMETHING is probably pornography.

Thanks Peter,

If the US Government can pass the law to make it ******* to transfer funds to and from the online offshore gaming sites, don't you think they can ***** off the economic lifeline of those offshore gaming sites.

It has more to do with the 33% cut the Government can not collect than the act of ******** itself due to the new technology of online gaming !

Well, sure. Gamblings never been legal in the US, except Nevada, Atlantic City, and Indian Reservations. Online gamblings sites have always been domiciled outside of the US for this very reason. But, despite the earnest efforts of our gestapo politicians, the federal government does not YET have total control over where we send our money. We can still transfer our money to a company like Neteller, a third party financial services company located offshore. Once our money gets there, our fascist government thankfully has no way of knowing where it goes after that. Neteller then enters a wire transfer, or ACH, to a numbered confidential account and nobody but Neteller and that account holder knows where the money goes. All this law does is create a much bigger need for the third party transfer company.

Some sites, though, like Party Gaming, Inc. (Party Poker) are have suspended activity. Problem with this company is it's headquartered in England and England sucks America's dick when it comes to politics so Party Gaming, knowing full well they are in the crosshairs of a loaded ***, has suspended US activities until they are absolutley sure they aren't breaking any laws. Bodog, on the other hand, is headquartered in Costa Rica, a glorious, Utopian haven of lawlessness, vice, and just good times in general. Costa Rica couldn't give a flying fuck what the US government thinks and neither could Calvin Ayre, the sole proprietor of Bodog. And for that, it's business as usual over there :glugglug:

I don't know much about everything else you discussed in your post so I will only address the part I do know. This statement is not quite accurate. Maryland used to have legal ********, strips and strips of clubs with slots etc. in certain areas. They had name entertainment performing at the clubs and everything. I think it ended in the seventies. My parents spoke many times of "crossing the border" (Va./ Md. line) to their Mexico as they called it.

Also Delaware still has legal ********, Dover is as good as Atlantic City I think. I love going there, they have everything as well as ***** racing. Which brings me to the ***** Tracks, they are in my opinion ******** as well and are all over the states as well as on the net. Not just on Indian Reservations. Legal ******** although scattered and piece meal at best, some only slots, some only ***** Tracks, some both and some all it is in many places in many forms. Just my :2 cents: and a little FYI.
