A few minutes ago I was made aware of a rule in the Identify/Name the babe section, which says that you cant post a YouTube link for people to look at.

Considering how many times YT links are posted in other parts of the board (like the 'what are you listening to right now?' thread'), isnt it a double standard that the rule states that they are not allowed in the ID section?
The rule was written in 2007, and doesnt seem to be wholly applicable now (I havent seen moderators following it, I might have missed it though)
Its not always the case, but if a user wants to get an ID of someone in a music video from YT for example, should this really be against the rules?
They could post it in the talk section and no one would have a problem with it. :dunno:
Could I suggest at least reviewing or modifying the rule to make it fairer on people in these kinds of situations? :helpme:
