Here is an astonishing scenario that could, as described in the article, could really still swing this gridlock about two terrible candidates to a bettr solution:

How Bernie Sanders Could Become President With Only 130,000 Votes

After reading Dawn Papple’s excellent article in The Inquisitr a few days ago, about how theoretically it was possible for Bernie Sanders to still become President, I shared the article with some friends and found that they were confused at how this scenario could occur, so I decided to write my own article and hopefully answer everyone’s questions, as well as recruit a few hundred people to help me make this into a reality.

Here are some of the questions I received over the last few days while promoting this idea on social media.

Have You Lost Your Mind? Bernie Sanders Dropped Out of the Race!! How Could He Become President???

In order to be elected President a candidate must win 270 electoral college votes.

Each state is assigned so many electoral votes and whichever candidate wins the popular vote in that state wins that state’s electoral votes.

For example, when Donald Trump wins Texas, he will be awarded 38 electoral college votes.

There are 538 electoral votes total.

If the election were held today, Hillary Clinton is predicted to win a very tight race..

Hillary Clinton – 270

Donald Trump – 268

What if there were a way to take three electoral college votes away from Hillary Clinton and award them to someone else, say Bernie Sanders?

SoI made a poll and am eager to learn if you would like this solution, and maybe, given you have the time and the mens, would help make this happen.

From articles I have read;

I either Clinton or trump dies after the election and becomes president elect there vp becomes pres elect and is inaugurated at the proper time. If trump or Clinton die b 4 the election a replacement is selected by the party.

In an election with Gen Andrew Jackson, John Quincy Adams and Henry Clay.
No one got the needed electoral count for that time- all were short.

Secy of states for several elections at the time went on to be the next president as the next in line, so to speak not that it was required.

It was just common at the time.

Gen Jackson had the largest electoral votes but short of the minimum needed.

Adams was second and clay had the fewest.

A back room deal must have been arranged as clay was appointed secy of state or promised it and he threw his support to adams

When the house of representatives voted (which is what happens when no one gets the minimum electoral votes).
Adams became president as he then had the minimum number and later on appointed clay as secy of state.
General Jackson the highest vote getter was shit out of luck.

He planned a way to become president for 4 years and did become president 4 years later (maybe 1828).
He attacked clay unmercifully.

Clay brought out the fact that for a time Jackson was shacked up w his gf and eventual wife for a time living in sin which was a bad thing in those days.
He thought it was dirty politics even though it was true.

His wife died shortly before inauguration- she was distraught over the scandal and new life she was to be entering.
Jackson fell into a long depression period.

A few months ago it was thought if trump picked up a few more dem states that Romney did not. Clinton would be short and the libertarian picked up Nevada and another small state trump would be short and the House of reps would vote. They could vote for anyone.

Trump would be leading Sanders by 20 points if Bernie had won the nomination.

Delusional as always. Sanders has none of the baggage as Clinton and people under 40 don't have the anti-Socialism brainwashing that babyboomers and older received growing up.

But how believable would a presidency be if it's won in this way? I'm not convinced it would be a happy ending for everyone, more like opening a can of worms...

When you read the comments after the article it seems mistakes are made, i.e. it's the House of Representatives that would choose the president, not the Senate, or that they vote by state and not delegate. I have no idea how that works, maybe someone else can say if this is correct or not.

You mean people under 40 arent students of history.

Sanders was only in this to make it look like there was a choice.

He was paid and now has another home and more money.

I would have loved to have made my 1000 dollar wager with you in a Trump/Sanders matchup.

Trump would have stomped him.

Look for the polls to tighten in the next 10 days or so.

I have been correct about him so far so I am putting it all out there and predicting Trump will win.

TRUMP 2016

Same. I live in a People's Democrat Republic state so it means fuck all. I just want to say I voted for Trump, for posterity and to show solidarity with the deplorable half hanging out in that basket. Because I of course am not deplorable. harumph.

Trump would be leading Sanders by 20 points if Bernie had won the nomination.
I guess that depends on the source of the poll.

If Sanders were the nominee the msm polls would still be showing the same thing they are now.
Just cross out the word Clinton and put in Sanders.
Because the polls they show the people are all fake. How any form of intelligent life could trust anything the msm says at this point is truly baffling.
In real life a Sanders and Trump race would be close. Unlike a Trump/Clinton race where Trump is ahead by probably 40 points at least. She is being destroyed.
But you all can believe what you want.

A Trump/Sanders race would also have been much cleaner.
It was HC's campaign and the MSM that has turned this one into a shitfest.
That was their plan all along.
They went after Trump right out of the gate. They used the debates to set up this plan and go after Trump on meaningless stuff. Dirty stuff that so far has all been proven false. More lies and deception as usual from It.
He had no choice but to hit back.
They are the ones openly advertising to pay women to say Trump has sexually harrassed them or worse.

The Clinton campaign is run by a group of liars, theives, vipers, and sneaks.
They have brought this campaign down to the shitty level it's at now.

like it or not get used to saying PRESIDENT HILLARY RODDAM CLINTON or crooked Hillary- 4-8 years of controversy, scandals and mayhem.
