Field of Dreams. Fact and correct answer. Thread closed, drive home safely. :hatsoff: You can't top this movie. Don't make me bust out "The people will come, Ray" speech...

Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
The Natural. There is just something magical about it. I could watch it over and over again. Roy Hobbs....swinging for the fences. Awesome.

So....which is it? Major League or Field of Dreams? Your post seems conflicted, Jason. :1orglaugh

Both great movies by the way....

1st place is Major League,
2nd place is Field of Dreams

The Sandlot. Second Bad News Bears. A League of Their Own.

All I can think of right now.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

Best. Quote. Ever.

"What do you believe in, then?"

"Well, I believe in the soul, the cock, the pussy, the small of a woman's back, the hanging curve ball, high fiber, good scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, overrated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days."

Second. Best. Quote. Ever.

I picked Field Of Dreams, but Bull Durham is a veeeery close second, and gets bonus points for realism.

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
Bull Durham for me. Field of Dreams second. Bad News Bears third.

I know I am un-American for saying it, but I just didn't dig The Natural

I was going to go with Major League but took The Babe instead. John Goodman played a great part in that film. Babe Ruth is one of my favorite athletes as well.
