Why does everybody over hype this border shit. You think those guys were good people and got hung for no reason? They worked for the cartel and fucked up. Also people complain about Mexico being so dangerous with the border and all however we don't legalize drugs or stop hiring illegals to help the situation.

No, Mexico is a shithole right now. I still did go over there this weekend to visit a nice senorita. Thing is don't get drunk. I think that's the reason I don't get in trouble. The waiters at the strip club recognize me, kind of risky to flash money but I tend to be a good tipper, especially if the service is prompt and the guy brings me a good looking lady.
But it all depends where you go. Monterrey is becoming a war zone. The Matamoros-Reynosa area is kind of creepy. No news coming out of the place but I get on twitter and read about shootouts there even before they come on the news on this side of the border, but not in the Mexican channels. The south is also a war zone, you got the Sinaloa cartel fighting with the Zetas for those southern cities like Acapulco. Juarez? Forget it. You couldn't pay me to go there. Now, I do cross into the Matamoros-Reynosa and the vibe I get there is...imagine you're an American soldier in full uniform taking a stroll through downtown Baghdad at night or imagine you're an American CIA officer who just woke up somewhere in Moscow during the Cold War. Yup, you have to develop eyes on the back of your head.
