I am but we still aren't going to get to the end of the big conspiracy plot. They are going to save it for future seasons.

I'm really into the show. The first episode was a little weak but it got better after that. Skully is smokin as ever.

Bah other projects, I have not seen Gillian Anderson on screen the past few years and David Duchovny is only busy with Aquarius and that is just a mid summer show, not many episodes.
I'd say they have plenty of time for more X-Files!

I liked Duchovny as Hank Moody too btw in Californication.

It was when the "suspect" told his version of what happened when Sculley came into the phone store. It was only about 45 seconds.


Did anyone else notice that the "suspect" was dressed just like Darren McGavin usually was in Kolchak: The Night Stalker? (Which the X-Files producers have said influenced them in creating X-Files.)

Episode three was weak, BUT, it was also a perfect homage to the old MOTW episodes, filled with delicious Easter Eggs and reminding us that good TV transcends a cheesy script.

I loved the first two 'canon' episodes

not sure but it seemed o light for ex files, not edgy enough. i was expecting this mini series to be really dark and gritty.

I'm started watching season 9 this last weekend, I figured it would be a good way to get into the story again and I never saw that season anyway.
At the moment I'm about half way through so maybe this next weekend I can start with the new season then.

I've tried not to read too many reactions so far but it looks like there are a lot of mixed feelings about the new season, I've got the feeling a lot of people expected more of it.
I hope some loose ends are being wrapped up although only 6 episodes might not be enough for that.

Pretty disappointed in this six episode series. Just as the same in the last few season of the original series.

I really liked it. It looks like they are going to be making more episodes. Cigarette Smoking Man is awesome, I always liked him.
