Maybe as a survival food, but wouldn't pay to eat it.
You can get mushrooms with the same taste/consistency for a fraction of the price.
Off course !
I've had some on many occasion, love it, so yummy
Don't ask yourself what you're eating, just eat it, enjoy it. If you like oysters you know what I mean...

When I was living in Oz, I did try bush tucker, which included grubs and honey/green ants. The grubs were just like tasteless raw egg yolk, but the ants, those were delicious! In a related topic ... I won't eat slugs either.

I've never really understood why these two are so frequently associated. I mean, they have nothing in common. If you wanna compare escargot ot other dishes compare them to oysters, clams or mytilidas.Tried it somewhat recently. Not my jam. But I did it. Frogs legs, the other thing usually talked about in the escargot conversations, are much better.
