I'm wondering or this is a well known organisation in your country. Please reply in this thread in which country you live and or you know the WWF.

Thanks a lot

I can't stand that organization. Their cause is noble but i have never been a fan.
As far as i know down here in AZ, not many are familiar with it.

Uhm I respect your opinion, but please feed it with reasons.

It's hard for me to understand when people say this about the WWF. In my view they are a great organisation and I'm a big supporter of them. They do not only want to protect our environment, but also want the best for us humans and try to find a solution to make it the best for us both.

I know they are a great org and what they do is great, but for some reason i don't identify with them.

It's good to be the king...
Yeah - the WWF are pretty well known over here in the UK (with the panda logo):

They were justified in taking on the World Wrestling Federation for the right to use WWF, IMO. The charity WWF was founded in 1961. Vince McMahon's empire wasn't known as WWF until 1979 - so the charity was there first.

I've contributed to their cause a few times in the past....

I would agree if they started complaining about it in 1979. I didn't like how they waited two decades to do something about it. Unless it actually took that long to work it way through the legal system.

I know of the organization, but am unfamiliar with it myself.

It makes sense that they waited. If they took control of the name before wrestling who would know about. My geuss is that they strategically planned for wrestling to keep the name so that it could become popular among the states and Americans.
