Woody Allen Or Else

I feel a lot of hostility towards the genius of Woody Allen on the boards. That's why there is no "OTHER" option. :tongue:

What's your fav Woody movie?

I'll start off with Annie.Hall, Stardust Memories and Hannah And Her Sisters

I've not noticed any Woody hostility. I'm not sure I've even seen a mention of him.

I'm a huge fan. Love and Death is my favorite.

Purple Rose of Cairo, Radio Days, and Bullets Over Broadway all ranking very high as well.

You've left off my favourite Woody Allen film: Love & Death (I see I'm not the only person who likes that one :hatsoff. I much perfer Allen's early work, his later stuff just doesn't match up in my opinion. Although Crimes & Misdemeanors for a later movie wasn't bad.

Take the Money and Run is also a good early one.

Woody Allen is a good director. He has to be one of my favorite movie directors.

I'm going with: Vicky Cristina Barcelona. It was a great (romantic drama movie). I love Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson, and Rebecca Hall. They're my favorites, he did a good job on this movie.

Great choices Lechepicha. Those are my favorite Woody Allen Movies. Scarlet Johannson was so hot in Match Point.


I basically liked all of his movies except for "Curse of The Jade Scorpion". That is the only movie of his I hate
