If a lady texts/calls YOU, out of the blue- wanting to see a band- should the guy reasonably expect she's somewhat interested in him. I'm not talking about getting some action- just somewhat interested and she would sit down and talk to you. This happened tonight- a lady who cuts my hair- i've liked for a while - but NOOO- she was interested more in the band- and some of the band members. Basically ignored me- I bit my tongue, was cordial and said g'night. Why the fuck did she text me? What purpose did I serve- I basically sat a table with a bunch of people I didn't know, and couldn't hear myself think. Again I wasn't expecting sex- but I think if the lady is intent on seeing the band, and nothing else, then say- "if you're not busy - i'm with a bunch of friends..blah blah blah..a great band is playing, why don't you come out and see us ..No overtones there- or no chance for mixed signals if you say it like that...Than I would've politely said no..

She sounds like a salesman.
Some women just don't like to arrive alone. I know one like that, she'll scam anyone into going to the bar with her, but then ditch them as soon as she finds someone higher up her social hierarchy.
And women are not "screwy," they're just plain fucking nuts, even when you think you've found one who isn't, wait a while, it'll come out.

If she asked you to meet her there and she was going to be there with other people, if you showed up or didn't, she wouldn't have cared.

Years ago, a hot blonde babe invited me to go with her to one of a friend's house where there was a pool party going on. I thought the same thing....gotta be some interest there, right? I didn't really know any of the other people very well and figured she would be with me, at least hanging out with me and talking to me and stuff....anything wrong with my thinking so far? I mean....she asked me to go with her.
You all know where this is going. Almost as soon as we got there she starts flirting with this other guy, they're in the pool together while I'm sitting like a dork up on the pool deck. It was almost like she wanted to showcase herself like this for me to be jealous or something. Really pissed me off and I never really had anything to do with her again after that.
Thankfully, not all women are like that....like the one I have been married to for 30-plus years!
